Hi Pragya, Thanks for the insights the are really helpful. Could you please share some information on how can we take a pet dog to US while going on H1b Visa? What dogs can be taken, what modes can be used? can they travel with us in the flight cabin? Is it worth the risk? What Vet facilities are there. I know this can be too many questions, but I do need info on it. The breed I have is Indian Pariah.

@@pavanmaruvada From what I understand, company B has filed your petition while you work for company A. As it's your first time H1b, the visa won't come into force unless you join company B, because it will be approved from B. So if you continue to work for A, they will have to file a petition for you. But remember that, as the visa has not been enforced yet you will not come under cap exemption. It means you will go back to lottery again next year. So for this year, you cannot have a visa transfer. Some might suggest you otherwise, but majority of such cases get an RFE, so be careful!

Depends on which center your petition goes. Average time is around 2-2.5 months. Premium processing ensures 15 days.
