Born and raised in Southern California but I always buy the Rao’s sauce from my local grocery store. Maybe I should make reservations for 2023😃😍🍽🍴

As someone who has cooked for most of his life. I notice something here and it took me around 8 years to learn to make a decent red sauce marinara. You see the taper on the pot there. That is key. That size is perfect too. I have an old french copper that i use for the sauce. But. You might be tempted to scrape the side and stir the sauce. For some reason. Idk why. If you let it reduce and as long as it doesnt burn. Which is why the taper is important. The sauce comes out better and more perfect. Thats why you see the extra sauce on the sides of the pot there. Idk why. But the less you stir. The right heat. The better the sauce. I think the reason is that the top water evaporates and becomes more viscous. That then sort of pressure cooks the inside. Where stirring lets out the heat and its so easy to overcook tomatoes

This priest...doesn't he remind you of the priest from the Soprano's? The freeloader, moocher who shows up at the door at the very moment dinner is being served? And as a footnote, you're supposed to serve the ladies first, no yourself lol. But seriously, this was some of the rudest and obnoxious dinner table behavior I think I've ever seen. It's cringe-worthy how badly he treats poor Susan as she's trying in vain to get a word in only to find herself constantly cut off. Ignoring her completely when she passes him the bread. If I were the producer of this show I would not have allowed it to air.

Frank just did not seem like his usual jovial self in this video - kinda removed - and then I noticed the date this was shot - in less than 6 months Frank would be gone - so not sure what all was going in his life at this time - but I can't help but to think it may have been weighing on him during this shoot.

Canned sometimes sounds worse than it is. Most high end Italian restaurants use canned san marzano tomatoes. Hell in a lot of Gordon Ramsay's cooking videos he uses frozen peas.

He shows bad manners, he should have served Susan before he did his self. And he ignored her while she was passing the bread, but what more can you expect from a rude Catholic Priest.
