First of all petroleum oil gas prices have always been a scam, OPEC plus controls 50% of the world's crude, they are literally a cartel. They control the supply therefore they control the price. Kind of ironic that you're calling out other people as scammers on the video that is emphasizing hypocrisy. Second of all global warming at a rate faster than ever thought possible in earths history is in fact happening. The oceans are warmer than they were 15 years ago that is a fact it is not up for debate. So the last card you're gonna play it's natural climate change has been happening since the dawn of time and you would be right except climate change happened over thousands of years, not 20 years. Finally I'm not an environmentalist I'm not an advocate my lifespan and even my children's lifespans are so short I can't worry about it. But I'm not gonna let people get away with calling a whole other group of people scammers When it is a proven scientific fact that climate is in full swing at a rate the overwhelming majority of scientists agree has to be man-made. Not only are the ocean temperatures rising due to greenhouse gases but they're exponentially rising. Well certainly possible for volcanoes solar radiation other natural factors to cause ocean temperatures to rise than the normal course of temperature change, None of those factors exist on earth right now. So for the glaciers to be receding ocean temperatures to be rising the last time that this happened and this is a fact they have geological proof it happened over the course of thousands plural thousands of years You got this clown newscaster trying to debunk somebody speech because he made a mistake insane that there were currently forest fires raging in Australia. It's a completely moot point, the lack of fire in Australia is not proof evidence circumstantial or otherwise that in anyway substantiates this nonsense that climate changes a naturally occurring event. I mean it is it takes 5000 years. I'm not an environmentalist I just can't stand people who misrepresent the facts. I used to let it go on challenge not anymore. I would argue just as vehemently on any point that someone Was intentionally or ignorantly misrepresenting known scientific facts

What we need is more fish in the ocean, more birds in the sky, and more trees on the land. While we are at it, Australia should stop putting dark-coloured roofs on houses. It should be inserted into building codes in Australia that houses are not to have black, red, green or dark-coloured roofs. Do what other countries are doing and paint roofs white. Australia is a hot country and dark-coloured roofs increase air conditioning costs, while white roofs can reduce air-conditioning costs by 40% and lower emissions. It has been proven that solar panels on a black roof will reduce electricity output, while solar panels on a white roof will increase electricity output. Australia should go all the way with the USA. Hundreds of counties and some states in the US are inserting clauses into their building codes to prevent Solar Panel Farms and Wind Farms from being built in their area. Painting roofs white is a growing business in the USA. Cities like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles have implemented initiatives to promote white roofs. California has updated building codes to promote white roofs or cool-roofs as they call them. Australia has the strongest sun light in the world, but is way behind many countries who recognize white roofs can reduce emissions. According to some studies, white roofs can offset more than 10 years of emissions growth and save billions of dollars per year in reduced carbon dioxide emissions.

Australian BOM refuses to accept the evidence of the extreme temperatures in Australia in the 1890s, with droughts and many deaths, because "the department did not exist then and cannot confirm the records", which are readily available. Thermometers were in existence and reliable at the time but, of course, it would not suit their biased narrative if they utilised the available facts. However, they are more than ready to "forecast" well into the future with their guesswork and estimates, which are not facts.

That "goose" is talking absolute bullshit. I live in NZ. The Pacific is not rising. Some of the coral atolls are sinking under the weight of their modern infrastructure. But they have increased in size as the atolls are healthier than ever and building up in areas where once there was ocean. In NZ we have erosion problems at the shoreline but that is more to do with tectonic plate activity than anthropomorphic-caused climate-change.

It was predicted by the climate scientists that by around the year 2000 the Maldives islands in the Indian ocean which are only about 1 meter above sea level would be under water due to rising sea levels. Fast forward 25 years or so and the island is still there. No sea level rises.
@GeoffMiell2 күн бұрын
Gary Durandt - "No sea level rises." You're another denier of reality. The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) published their report titled 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘭𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦 2023 on 19 Mar 2024, where in Fig 6 (on page 6) indicated that the sea level rise (SLR) rate of an average of 4.77 mm/year was observed over the period Jan 2014 through Dec 2023, with an acceleration at 0.12 ± 0.05 mm/y². This suggests the SLR rate is now around 5 mm/y in 2024. The SLR doubling rate since satellite altimetry data began in Jan 1993 has been around 18 years. So an SLR rate of 5 mm/y now, in less than 2 decades then accelerates to 10 mm/y, and then 20 mm/y, 𝘦𝘵𝘤, assuming an exponential progression. Glaciologist Professor Jason Box says in the KZbin video titled 𝘀𝗲𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 - 𝗶𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁?, recorded on 13 Jun 2024, a little after the 1¾ minute mark (bold text my emphasis): “𝘕𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘧 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘭𝘺, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘴.
