Yup. The international system has zero credibility when it comes to Israel unfortunately.

Yeah Benny Gantz cost himself enormous international credibility by joining the cabinet. And unanimously voting for every outrageous decision by Nats. Every day he stays on hes urinating all over the rest of his career.

This war is not the wa between Israel and Palestinians. There is so many players, like China, Russia and Iran, so what can anybody do?

So basically, it was Netanyahu's hubris which enabled this disaster in the first place - and his utter lack of vision or any kind of coherent strategy has now prolonged it. I'm really beginning to think this could quite possibly be the most incompetent PM we've had in living memory.

He was fine in the 90's and even did okay in the early 2000's but he lost his way a decade ago.

Prime Minister Netanyahu's plan involves first eliminating Hamas in Gaza, followed by a period of Israeli military control to stabilize the region. During this interim period, efforts would focus on identifying and establishing a moderate, non-radical Islamic leadership. This new leadership would be supported and supervised by the United Nations to ensure a smooth transition and effective governance in Gaza. The goal is to remove extremist influence and promote a more peaceful and stable governance structure. Subsequently, Israel, newly established Palestinian leaders, and the United Nations, along with its allies, would engage in discussions regarding the potential statehood of Palestine. These talks would aim to reach an agreement between the two nations independently, without external interference or pressure from other countries or the UN. Respectfully, the complexity of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict means that any re-engagement in Gaza must be carefully considered, balancing strategic goals with the imperative to protect human life.

Netanyahu very clearly stated that there will be no role for the U.N and that there will be no two state solution.

25 years ago I asked this Beilin dude on a public platform - if more money would be going to sewage in the streets in no Jewish settlements. I was ignored, afraid to say yes on a public platform. He had the power (minister of justice!) to take the authorities (of his own political party in government) and did nothing. Want me to now listen to his sophisticated rambling? I'm outa here

IDF was looking for an opportuity. They are so well organised. Israel voted for people that love the Gaza Massacre and say so.

There is no massacre in Gaza. There is war in Gaza. There is war started by Gazans. There is war that Gazans have the power to end anytime they like. There is war that is continued by Gazans. If Gazans want war so badly, why not let them have it?
