'(Netanyahu) Will Not Stand Trial!' Lawyer Alan Dershowitz On ICC Arrest Warrants

Amidst the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the International Criminal Court (ICC) at the Hague has applied for arrest warrants for key members of the Israeli and Hamas leadership.
The move, which also targets Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has divided many countries along lines defined by their support for Israel - whose leadership has urged what it called “nations of the civilized world” to oppose the request for the arrest warrants.
Riz Khan speaks to Alan Dershowitz to find out his opinion on the ICC arrest warrants and for his prediction on the outcome of the Donald Trump trial.

He is correct: ICC has no jurisdiction until recourse is made to the national laws and courts of the countries involved. The prosecutor immediately assumed jurisdiction without as yet giving israel or hamas a right to present their side. Israel's judiciary is one of the best and most stable in the world. Like the US, Israel claims to not be ratifiers of the ICC, though they participate as hard lobby observers in the Assembly of States Parties meeting. By many legal standards, that is a form of accession.

There could be no subjectivity or politicization of suspects within the ICC. Karim Khan faces plenty of obstacles in his pursuit of arrest warrants for Gallant and Netanyahu. There must be a body or an institution and not a pre-trial chamber only within the ICC to judge clearly and stickly before a prosecutor can be accepted to seek for an arrest warrant. Also they should come up with s strong punishment and sanction if the prosecutor fabricated his story and found that his act is base on hatred. Therefore, The Criminal Court's mission should be first strictly judge this criminals in the International Criminal Court, led by Karim Asad Ahmad Khan and his cohort. Should they fail to produce any basis of evidence collected and examined by their Office against Israel, they should be immediately sentenced to life in prison. PERIOD.
