I have to come across anything on Netflix, let alone any streaming service, where characters narrate what they're doing as if the "Audio Description for the Blind" setting is on.
@FanZceneVids16 күн бұрын
It's coming and has been in there for awhile. The executives literally said so and have been programming Netflix this way. Of course it's not everything on there but it's there.

@FanZceneVids Personally, I think it's a bunch of fear mongering BS being spread by someone who had a bad working experience with Netflix. One of the examples given was Lindsay Lohan's *_Irish Wish_* and the dialogue in that movie was your typical Romantic-Comedy dialogue, nothing abnormal about it in the context of a Romantic-Comedy.

Good Old Max Headroom It's weird that a show like this predicted the future of entertainment, but the way a film like Demolition Man showed us how our society would work is pretty scary when you think about it. Long live your own program that you have built up over the years, no Netflix can compare anyway. 📼💿 Godspeed 🤘

Max Headroom and Demolition Man are definitely scarily accurate about the future we are living in. Thanks buddy, doing the best I can, godspeed 🤘

If Netflix doesn't give 2 shits? Neither does the viewer cause according to that statement, their ass ain't paying attention anyway. It's like having the TV on while doing other shit.

Exactly, it's not entertainment it's white noise dressed up as content.

Not only this is gonna be Netflix's case but also every other streaming service is gonna do the exact same thing with Hulu Disney+ HBO Max Paramount+ Peacock Discovery+ Amazon Prime Video Apple TV+ and so many more are also heading in the same direction with the Max Headroom concept of how we watch movies and TV shows and whatever
@sykodjiuia18 күн бұрын
This was a great idea for a video. Max Headroom was a trip, but I've only seen the original movie Max Headroom: 20 Minutes Into The Future. I'm thinking about picking up the Complete Series DVDs, but reportedly the movie isn't included. Do you keep a journal and notes about movies and media? I'm finding it fun and useful, considering websites I used for reference seem to have been taken down. I still need that info. For instance, I started listing all of the AIP Studios/A.I.P. Home Video releases last night. As a VHS distributor, they were pretty special and then right there is a whole list of interesting movies I haven't seen before.
@FanZceneVids18 күн бұрын
Max Headroom was so ahead of its time. The series does not include the movie, it was a British movie, the series pilot is a retelling of the movie with some changes. I do not keep a journal or notes, but that's a good idea to help out.
@MediaArchiveMike18 күн бұрын
Yes you are correct the movie is not included with the DVD set. It was released on VHS which you can still find at various prices. There was a Japanese DVD release of the pilot. You can find it on KZbin and other places online.

With Netflix and similar services I feel there is an illusion of choice an example being Classic films less than 20 years old never will get on or remain. Just as Bland multiplex ended many independent cinemas and Mom and Pop video libraries with those niche titles these Corporations are shrinking the avenues to discover classic film history
@FanZceneVids18 күн бұрын
Exactly, they only care about what they want you to see. Classic entertainment means nothing to them and aren't giving the people an opportunity to even choose them.

Definitely people in my family who have it on in the background and are not actually watching anything. They don't even know what is going on.

That saddens me to hear this. Entertainment should entertain and keep your attention.

The only thing I wish most shows/movies would do would be have some audio of what people are texting or wrote on some note. I always have to rewind like what does that say?? Squinty eyes and all. Forget my parents watching some movie and they see the young characters type stuff like idk jfc lol fr idgaf… and I ask them do you know what that says? and they never do!
@FanZceneVids18 күн бұрын
You would think that's something they would do now a days especially since, like your parents, not everyone knows what they're typing.

You should make a video on how amazon edited Its a Wonderful Life and omitted the most important scene
@FanZceneVids18 күн бұрын
Been thinking about doing a video on that. May do it, it's crazy that they even edited it in the first place.
@MediaArchiveMike18 күн бұрын
That is serious BS that Amazon edited Its a Wonderful Life. If NBC can broadcast that movie unedited each year there is absolutely no excuse for what Amazon did.

@MediaArchiveMike18 күн бұрын
@@AdaptiveRider I did some research and it turns out that the unedited version is also on Amazon Prime. So you still have a choice, supposedly the edited version that was uploaded to Prime was made by Rifftrax so they could run commentary over the film and get around the copyright that is still in force over that one segment that was removed.

The movie and entertainment industry is nearing an about face. Politics and identity have shaped Hollywood and streaming services. America has spoken, and everything is about to change with a new sheriff and mandate. Back to entertainment is inevitable. We are taking Hollywood back, and we will dictate what content our entertainment has. Time for change.

Thanks for saying this, it’s about time more people wake up and realize it. That’s why I, Melevill the shadow Demon, only watch Independent Entertainment. I wouldn’t pay for Netflix even if they get down on their knees and worship me….well maybe I would…but I am Evill, buahahah. ( Seriously, great video. I have to go re watch Max again. It was on Tubi for a while but I think is gone now. 🖤)
@FanZceneVids18 күн бұрын
This is why I'm here, and Netflix isn't fit for anyone even a demon like you. Ah man maybe Tubi will put it back on again. Everyone needs to watch a little Max Headroom now and again.

Hey Greg why do you hate the word content I mean movies TV shows and other forms of entertainment are more than just content am I right
@FanZceneVids16 күн бұрын
Entertainment should never be called content, it devalues it and shows its made to consume not entertain. You're right movies and TV series are far more than content.

@FanZceneVids Oh okay then how can we make entertainment valuable again
@FanZceneVids16 күн бұрын
@logandockery1512 Don't watch what they call content, and watch what entertains you. We speak with our wallets, the more we do that the better we can help improve entertainment.
