I’ll fall in love with Netflix again when they start making series more than 10 episodes long
@cuzanater20272 жыл бұрын
For real right!? Everyone does that now. I don't know why they only do 10 or 12 episodes but I remember shows like Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, Top Gear and so on use to be like 25 to 30 episodes in a season. They've gotten lazy or something 🤷.

@@cuzanater2027 If I had more time I'd write a shorter letter. Anime get shorter cause they tell better stories in less time and you forget that Naruto, Dragon Ball, Bleach and others had literally hundreds of chapters of manga written by the time the first episode of the anime came out. Usually if you're making an anime adaptation of a manga or comic you'll lose the core audience if you start tweaking too much and extending too much so you can't take the story much further than the manga already has. If it is an original series then it probably took 2 years or more to make that 12 episode show assuming they worked from scratch. Take Arcane, 9 episodes yet it outclasses literally everything in Netflixs entire history. It is the best rated show on Netflix from viewers and critics alike. Personally I'd rather take 9 fucking brilliant episodes over DBZ or Naruto having mabye 3 good episodes out of every batch of 10 Btw, Dragon Ball Z, in 60 minutes of view time had 20-30 minutes of characters talking about how much more powerful they could get.
@cuzanater20272 жыл бұрын
@@zaferoph What a load a crap man 🤣🤣🤣. So then take the time to make high quality storyline as you put it and produce more episodes. If it takes 4 or 5 years to come out with a full season of 20 or 30 episodes then so be it. Not my fault everyone has ADD now and can't watch more than 7 or 8 episodes without losing interest. You're also on drugs I think because Dragon Ball Z, Bleach, Naruto had way more than two or three good episodes. I'd sit there and watch 15 or 20 episodes in a row of Dragon Ball or One Piece. Everybody's got their own opinion on what's good! But what I don't like is watching the entire season in one night. I mean you're going to make me wait for one episode every week for 6 weeks. What a crock of shit! Like for Kenobi I didn't watch any of it until all the episodes came out and the same thing with Halo. It pisses me off that I have to wait for one 40 minute episode a week. I'll just wait until they release all their current episodes and then I'll watch them all together. Perhaps I think the lesson here is people need to learn patience and stop demanding that they produce content now because we're bored and we need something to do 🤷🤷🤷. I'm sure the only reason it took almost 2 years to probably make those six episodes was that bullshit excuse because of Covid made things difficult. That's a bunch of BS and they're just being lazy.

There are so many genres of movies available: sci-fi, comedy, rom-com, fantasy etc. It is weird if all their movies are soley from one genre: politics. I will say just because a business was there for you doesn’t mean you should support it when it’s wringing you dry for less. If Netflix was a person In your situation it’d be the best choice as what they did for you, but no it’s a business that wanted your money and never did it for you specifically. I mean if you still enjoy their new shows, go for it but if you don’t, don’t waste your money on the rosy vision of the past. This trust is how companies abuse people and the loss of consumers (if thought right about) is the ideal to the possibility of them getting together and regaining their loss and becoming market leader

Netflix's problem isn't money or that the content library sucks. actual Netflix viewers will agree that the actual problem with Netflix is Netkill, which is basically a term for Netflix Cancelling it's own shows, that too some of the best shows. Example THE OA, people protested against it outside it's headquarters, imagine the power of their IP. But they cancelled their own IP for apparently no reason, and kept giving away money to WB and Disney for their IPs which are now being pulled out. Imagine Disney discontinuing Marvel and Starwars shows and paying WB to stream HBO shows, that's what Netflix is doing. Just like Blockbuster failed to make transition from an offline rental to online streaming/rental, Netflix is now failing to transition from a streaming service to a production house.
@richardharrison14932 жыл бұрын
I think the lockdown on PW sharing is the why. Me and my sisters share PW for our streaming service. Each of pay for 1-2 services then share the password This helps all of us by reducing our entertainment costs but giving us a broad range of options.

You are already entitled the the watch hours. . So even with 1 screen, you pay for 24 watch hours per day, no more no less. So if you watch during the day and your sis watches at night, or if you watch 24 a day, it is the same thing. Blaming it on password sharing is like cable saying they lose money because kods watch cartoons in morning, mom watches during the day and dad watches at night.
