Spaceman. Rubbish story. The Gentlemen. Kaya Scoldelario. What more could you want? Utterly awful story and scripting. Damsel. Again. Milly Bobby Brown. Yum. A worse story than The Princess Bride. Awful. The Body Problem. Never met the basic need to make me believe. Awful. The Wages of Fear. Pulse pounding? Thriller? Snorefest. Really makes me wonder if there are any Hollywood writers that are worth their pay.

@@5spicksSome of the things I did enjoy. The Old Guard. The Mother. Hotel del Luna. The Diplomat. Taboo. Wednesday (of course). The Night Agent. Atypical. Altered Carbon. Breaking Bad. There's a few of the shows/movies I really did enjoy. To put it in to context, a couple of my all time favorites are Blade Runner, Road to Perdition and Band Of Brothers. Set the scene. Within reason it can be outrageously impossible or untrue. Just make me believe it. A good plot, with twists, woven with good scripting, directing and acting. I didn't mention Ex Machina, because it is on Prime. There are tons more. But they are hard to pick out from the Chaff. Game of Thrones would be there, but the last couple of seasons ruined it.

The gentlemen was the only thing worth watching in march. Hardly worth paying for.

I strongly disagree on The Gentlemen, it's very entertaining, though The Diplomat is sharper, smarter, and I can't wait for it to return. The original French Wages of Fear (1953) IS better, saw it as a kid on TV. I haven't watched Damsel yet but if you're going to set the bar at Princess Bride then you're begging for disappointment anyway. Here's some I found worthy of more than one episode: The Brother's Sun, pretty formulaic but the action is good and Michelle Yeoh always deserves some attention. Sex Education rises well about it's "teen sex romp" veneer to thoughtful, insightful, charming and funny with a cast that lifts it quite well above the expectations.
