@RomanDiaries4 жыл бұрын
@@lilycarp.17 Right? It'd be super misleading if they put that in and still had her relationship with the guy get sexual. The trailer doesn't make the show seem sexualized in the first place, so I'd be shocked if it went down that path. On top of that, the writer/director/producer is a lesbian and the MC seems to be partly based on her. Also it'd be annoying; the world needs more platonic girl/boy friendships, not every MC has to hook up with the MC of the opposite sex.

And at the end asian girl finally fell for the football guy right? Because she is crying when they had to separated.

Okay, i highkey thought this was about a nerdy asian girl who becomes a tutor for a jock and falls in love, like that kind of trash. Then, this trailer took a whole other turn. An Asian-American lesbian lead, for teenagers, like where the hell does one find that. I know it looks just like Sierra Burgess, but I feel like we should give it a chance, and I'm honestly so excited for this level of representation. Also, a male and female friendship is being put on screen without any romantic elements, though she is lesbian which happens to be almost every non romantic male and female friendship, one of them is always gay but still a great step.

I was just thinking "'ugh, another stupid Netflix romantic comedy" and then I watched the trailer. Wow, that looks amazing. Got me a little choked up, surprisingly. What a great premise and emotional trailer. The leads have amazing chemistry, too. Can't wait.

I feel like such a dork but I had tears in my eyes by the end. Glad I'm not alone!

@@enemy1191 🙄🙄 how? The fact that she's also in love with the girl her friend is? That's the plot. That's like saying Julia Roberts being a prostitute in Pretty Woman is a spoiler.

I’m a sucker for romance and this is coming from someone who likes seeing people having they’re jaws ripped off and heads split open and seeing people’s teeth ripped out and sticking them in they’re eyes etc lol can’t wait to watch this though.
