Personally I think the First Castlevania Netflix series with Trevor in it still has the best animation and above all it has the best coreography on its fighting scenes out of all animation shows I ever watched. Nocturne action is a bit more Anime like with the main character can do magic now and move like he is a dragonball fighter, its coreography is not on the level of Trevor Castlevania where it really feels that they are a skillfull human who fights against all odds.

@@Dominator1039 Have not seen the show. I feel like "tricked by possession" is way too much of a reach. He was not tricked, he was possessed- two quite different things in fiction. There is a distinction to make between an unlikable character and a bad character, but I suppose you meant the latter. I respectfully disagree with that notion. He was, by far, the most interesting Belmont the castlevania series had given by that point in time. He had an actual personality and character flaws, which is how Shaft managed to possess him IIRC. Even though he was not in control of his actions, his dialogue in sotn is very telling. He dreamed of a greater purpose, but once he had vanquished Dracula, he felt aimless, and that resulted in the castle manifesting once more and Shaft re-entering the picture. That's a good premise, and the execution was pretty decent as well. If you meant that you consider him unlikable, it's a reasonable viewpoint. But just to emphasize, whilst he gave the vampire killer away, he did so in order to fulfill a prophecy that would ultimately lead to the final death of Dracula. So, thanks to him, Julius Belmont is as great as he is. Not only that, the restriction on the vampire killer lead to, at least in canon, 3 great characters to play as in other games (Shanoa, John and Jonathan Morris), who all played their part in fulfilling the prophecy. So, Richter's contribution to the franchise is immense, and he's also the most powerful Belmont in canon, at least until Julius came along, so I don't think Richter was overhyped at all.

I lk love juste and Julius Belmont. I liked harmony of dissonance but common consensus was it was alright to bad so juste isn't a well liked character. I think it'll be cool to see a Belmont not using vampire killer but using what seemed to be the sub weapons lol.

Once this show is done they can start adapting Order of Ecclesia. There is potential for a lot new lore regarding an order made for fighting vampires when the Belmonts are seemingly gone from the world or in hiding. It would also be a treat to see Shanoa in animated form.

Ecclesia sounds like the logical one for them to do next. I expect Blackmore will get upgraded to a more prominent role so that they can have an active antagonist before the reveals happen. Some flashbacks to the various Belmonts might be a good way to give them some focus without having to do a whole series for each one.

A 20-episode season is impossible and 8-10 episode per season is fine as long as there is a proper focus on the characters and the plot is on the right pacing Richter should have more development. Take advantage of Alucard as the selling point of this season. Anette has a considerable arc last season so she can take a backseat for a bit. More backstory for the villains. If they gonna add subplots better to make it at least have some relevance to the overarching story or to the development of characters Nocturne so far is alright, not as good as the previous one but even the og castlevania has rough edges on its first and third season. They have higher expectations too with how successful this series is.

Even here the small glimpse of her fighting shows development (her making a shield and mace) but yea I think she may not need heavy depth. With Alucard, Richter and Maria being at the forefront.

pretty complicated to do an aria of sorrow adaptation with so much of the lore changed honestly I loved some creative liberties in these adaptations but in effect some stories in the games wont work whats more plausible is a lament of innocence storyline with a few tweaks
