as someone who has read the manga.....ah yes, Someone who constantly goes against his wolf nature, doesnt even like being a wolf, loses all his maw grip strenght and at one point even rips out his Canine teeth because he "doesnt need them" and to prove that he is not like a wolf. Such an embodiement of a Wolf. Dont get me wrong, i love the manga, but as someone who likes wolfs myself, i thought Legoshii was an embarrasement as a character. he pretty much showed that Wolfs can only be heros of storys when they dont behave like wolfs and dont wanna be.

I'm frm Japan, I speak both English and Japanese, and I've heard the original dubbing as well, so that's why I can say; This English Ver. Legoshi is just great. He didn't bring in any awkwardness to this character and he sounds alive just as well as the Japanese Ver. He may sound a bit different frm Japanese Ver. in terms of voice however; he sounds like Legoshi despite my knowing the Japanese one. Magnificent.

3:50 I absolutely love Jonah's work with this scene. I think in the sub Legoshi sounds a lot more angry and manic, as though he's in a fit of predatory rage and taking it all out on Bill. With Jonah on the other hand, Legoshi sounds a lot more emotional and in touch with his inner turmoil, with the voice cracks making him sound like he's on the verge of tears. While both takes on the scene work, something about Jonah's performance just cuts so much deeper for me.

@@dudewswaggames Well think of it this way. The panda said to him, "why didn't you bite him?" That wasn't just a reference to instinc in the show because, wolves have a very strong bite strength. The advantages the lions have over him is there weight. That's why it was so hard for him to push them and why he did it at their core weight section (middle area). Male lions are scary because they are heavy, that's why hyenas don't mess with the cubs and he baby sits. So in this legoshi moving like he did and then biting him is finally acting like a wolf. That's legitimately how a wolf will hunt and attack. They circle the target together, heard it essentially while causing confusion and panic, wait for the opportunity, then jump at em just like that. So props to them for doing this section like this.

Now i feel like i shouldnt have read the manga before season 3 which is the final season sadly. Well sure the manga has alot flaws. But its still good nonetheless. Theres some moment that are really emotional and heartwarming. I just hope that studio orange can fix some of the problem the manga has. Pray for Juno.
