What a beautiful documentary, this deserves to be a full length film/documentary. There is so much more to explore here. Well done to the cast and crew, you lot smashed it!❤

SO proud of these 3 people - I started swimming before I could walk, so I've taken it for granted, my Dad used to call me his little fish - I hope this video is shown in schools and everywhere possible to educate and inspire 🚀

This documentary is a wonderful watch and way too short. I came across this after listening to Richie Brave on 1Xtra Radio this evening, who did his whole show on unpicking why it is that British Black people don't swim. I don't swim at present, not because I can't but because the only access I'd have to water are the public swimming pools and the chlorine for my hair and skin isn't kind. But I will say that after watching this doc and knowing that there are now swim caps specifically designed for black hair, swimming is something I am now considering. Thank you to the crew of Black Stroke and the three brave souls featured. You've all done a wonderful thing.

Such an important topic too many of us fear the water I myself used to have that mindset until I turned 35 and learned to overcome this fear. If nothing else I hope this inspires everyone who thinks they can’t swim to learn no matter your age trust me once you get over your fear of the water you do have such a strong sense of victory about what you over came

Thank you for this. Inspirational and uplifting. I hope this inspires many non-swimmers to think about learning how to swim and to begin to understand what a wonderful sport and pastime they are depriving themselves of, not to mention the safety aspect. Also grateful that unlike many other videos on the topic, this video does not focus on the racism, because I believe it is pretty evident that, existing racism aside, racism for most non-swimmers in today's day and age is not the primary reason they are not learning how to swim. I also understand how big a role existing fears and also embarrassment about not knowing how to swim can play and that it can keep someone from learning how to. May these uplifting stories help others to find the courage. Nike was right on this one: Just do it!
