I have Netflix. It is truly a masterpiece with a chip, flawed (cos it went off the rails quite early, with something unplanned) but still immensely beautiful in the end (coz Jon just took the unexpected event and worked it into a magical performance). It's something I have shared with every one of my friends who love good music like me and who aren't privileged to see it in its present format. I wish I can do that for you, but I guess I can't. I can only hope you see it soon, in a way that you would be able to conveniently enjoy it. Peace.

We are so fortunate to have the musical genius and the loving soul of Jon. Then add the "Forever First Lady" playing the Peanut's song. If you haven't watched American Symphony" please do yourself a favor and watch it. Jon and Suleika both taught me several ways of very deep and soulful that I have made a commitment to follow them. I'm homebound and listening to them both has given me a deeper understanding of my soul and my outlook on life. I'm so over the moon that Suleike is doing so wonderful ! I say thank you to God/The Universe/The One/ in gratitude of her healing. Theirs is unconditional love that most people never have. Thank you both for giving me some tools that I can use to look at situations differently from a space of love. In the end, all you take with you to the other side is love, plain and simple.

When Jon Batiste left The Late Show I was worried about him. I knew his Wife was ill and I thought he was leaving the safe environment of the show too soon. I worried that he might not find sustainable commercial success. I'm glad to say I was completely wrong. Jon's music is timeless and beautiful. Jon Batiste had to spread his wings and fly 🕊️. There's a lesson in there for us all. Jon had outgrown The Late Show band leader position. I couldn't see it then but I see it now. Fly high Young Brother Batiste. 👍🏾🏆

Beautiful people. I'm white, 84 now, brought up as a typical white kid with very little exposure to music, altho my Dad had learnt violin as a small kid, and loved listening to little bits of classics on a Sunday evening, so I got that too. What most makes me sit up & take notice in this video is the depth of these guy's characters - they know pain, they know joy, and it shows ! We whites often have a stunted appreciation of the pain in others' lives because we are living as a privileged class in this society - that's what we consider our 'right' even f we never express that. It's obvious with those who get spiteful to people like these 2. Thank you guys for reminding me of the facts !~ Never let me hear one word of criticism of them for what I felt as they talked together - deep souls, with much to teach others ! I will be checking out his music - I did not know him before !
