There’s really no reason for it to break unless you force it to bend back more than it should. For the lag just make sure there’s not too many obstacles between the device and your router.

I went ahead and did a little more research and you have to download the drivers for it off of another computer or laptop that has internet connection put the files on a usb stick then upload the files do your computer that doesn’t have the internet connection.

So what a lot of people don't realise happens with external devices that disconnect randomly.... is there is actually a setting when you go into device manager, then into your device settings there is actually a power management setting that is often default ticked that says 'allow computer to turn off device to save power' you need to turn this off especially if you are gaming.... That shit is common knowledge you are just being played by an idiot who didn't bother to learn tech.

I am in need of assistance with this adapter. So I've done exactly as instructed step by step and when I did my first speed test I got 10mbps on my desktop (vs. the 5 or less I was getting through our downstairs Netgear family router with internet through Windstream). But then, like, not even 5 minutes later it slows WAY down. When I did another speed test I, no kidding, got a 0.2mbps download speed. I tried plugging it into my 3.0, into one of the back ports, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers 10 times but I've yet to get consistent results. I'm sad but I'm holding out hope someone here can help me out. Thanks for reading!

I've used it since it's release and it's been great. You should set your zone to your current address and do a packetloss test. which is usually an issue with the nbn fibre getting interference more than it is a connection from your wifi device to router/modem. Or just look up how to test your computers packets from command prompt bro. Then contact your service provider. Cause this thing is on the other end of my home and im in the furthest room. Even with 4 bars. I get literally 0 lag spikes.
