Hey i do have a netgear a6150 almost the same as yours but without an antenna, but it said up to 1200mbps and I only got like 10mbps plus I had already downloaded the drivers. dont you mind helpin or just your thoughts

I’ve been trying to figure this out and make a video about it for the longest, so far I don’t have a solution. If you have an android phone try downloading the file on your phone through net gear website. Then transferring the file from your phone to your desktop. I hope this helps a bit.

Hi, I am confused between three models. 1) Netgear AC1200 A6210, 2) TP-Link Archer T4U AC 1300 and 3) D-Link AC 1300 DWA 182. So I would like ask you some questions. 1) How is the build quality of this one? 2) Would it work if I chose not to install the driver software? I mean there is even a warning sticker on the product to install the driver first..!! (TP-Link Archer T4U is plug and play) 3) Netgear AC1200 A6210 is available for roughly about $32 in our country and the other two models cost about $27. Which one would you recommend? Not sure about the tp-link brand but the netgear brand is always my go to for network products. Build quality is good and yes you have to have the drivers installed for it to work.

When I plugged it into my usb 2.0 port it would disconnect randomly, but I switched it to a usb 3.0 port and hasn’t disconnected since.

Ok it has new drivers. One with the software and one without software and just the core drivers. Installed that and it worked perfect. Getting very very good speeds from this device. Awesome awesome WiFi adapter. Highly recommended.

You have to download it somehow to a usb drive from your laptop or another computer that has internet then transfer those drivers to the desktop you want the software installed on.

Without internet you won’t be able to download the files. But what you can do is use a usb drive to upload the file to it from a computer with internet, then install it onto the computer with internet.

Could be that you’re too far from your router, too many obstacles in the way, or you need an upgraded internet plan with your provider.
