Hi Paul 10Gbit at home :-) That is also on my wishlist,, I'd like a 48port 1Gbit but with 2 or 4 10Gbit uplink ports switch,, to start with. I have added your channel as a Featured channels, on my channel,, you make some good relevant videos, for us nerds :-)

8-port 10Gbit, cost ~800. Money well invested, I recently upgraded my setup from consumer router to pfsense + 1Gbit switch (unmanaged). I'd have gotten a managed vut the budget didn't cut it.

Some routers require you to use the Configuration CD to setup the unit NETGEAR is one and BELKIN is the other.

Netgear is shying away from that. The xs708e was a full blown Windows App managed device. With the xs708ev2 they went back to web managed, thankfully.
