Netherlands Shoe Competition

Another contest another Trophy. A few years back I made a bet with a cobbler (Theo) from the Netherlands. I was so sure of myself thinking that I would win. Well Theo won by a couple of points. So this year I went to pay my dues.

Congratulations, Steve. Don't change a thing about those videos, brother!! What I appreciate the most is how you leave nothing to chance. Right down to HAMMER TIME. There's always a shortcut, and the shortcuts won't fail 90% of the time. Maybe not even 98%. But who's going to get the work that falls into the 2%? All they'll know is something failed. You don't take the shortcuts. You hammer every last inch, then your burnish it. No squish machine. That earns a lot of respect from me, because you know those glue joints aren't ever going to fail if they're hammered. You are a solid dude. Your work speaks for itself, and you show the whole process. Total respect, my man!
