Depends entirely on the teen in question, the overly aggressive like the girl that initiated the fight probably would be quickly expelled from the project, certainly quite the high standard they're recruiting for if 2 out of more than a hundred end up picked

They have been kidnapped, told nothing and put through a constant series of grueling tests from where the hindmost simply vanished, presumably killed. A hell of a lot would figure that eventually they would be gotten too and would take the first opportunity to escape, killing any guards and recruiting as many fellow abductees as possible. These were all highly competent individuals. Highly competent people are rarely passive for long. Furthermore with their captors making no attempts at propaganda even the two "graduates" at the end had no reason to do anything but hate and fear their captors. Needless to say this is not an ideal method to recruit a new super soldier or whatever. Even Dr. Halsey of Halo Spartan fame recognized that it was vitally important to get their abductees reasons to work together and to not strike out at them. She grabbed them younger and used good old military style training methods to get them to form a pack. These guys grabbed teenagers or the equivalent (an age notorious for irrational and rebellious behavior) and pitted them against each other. These guys are just fucking stupid.

Find out after roughly 100 ish days of being electrocuted and mind games that it wasn't some prison but an elite trial thing and that everyone else just got sent home... Possibly memory wiped but still, also, would want to have new skin grafted just to remove the branding if I found out that it wasn't some prison thing, would probably peel it off first time I get a knife... Just not one for tattoos and would definitely have preferred a key card...

The rough redundant use of words one usually needs a thesaurus to learn indicates a flower ready to bloom, author-wise. Definitely a mind to keep an eye out for. Once they learn from the mistakes throughout this piece, they will have already quintupled their skills. Good flow, understanding of imagery, pacing etc. It's just weighed down by odd synonyms. Not nearly as bad as James Luceno's first books though.

As it is, I'm not even going to listen to this because it's apparently part of a bigger story and I don't want to try to figure out what part it is.
