Thanks and no it isn´t possible, because in catia it is all just "mock up" no "real" simulation.

Hi Wolfgang, thank you for your video it really helps a lot. I am simulating a Geneva gear movement at the moment, and this video is definitely one of my favourites. Quick question, based on this law below: if Geneva_drive\KINTime =319s Geneva_drive\Commands\Command.2\Angle =-atan(sin(Geneva_drive\Commands\Command.1\Angle )/(c_distance /`radius _crank`-cos(Geneva_drive\Commands\Command.1\Angle ) ) ) } One thing I have realised is that, when the Geneva wheel starts moving again after the "else" function at 319s, the position of the Geneva wheel resets itself to the original position instead of continuing on from where it stopped. Is it possible to create a law so that the Geneva wheel continues from the last known position at 41s rather than re-setting at 319s? Hope that makes sense.

Hi, I did this one a while ago, If I remember correctly I´ve tried to come up with a solution the way you ask for. It might be possible but I didn´t find a way, sorry. I would have to revisit this exercise to check if I could do it. But as usual I´m quite busy with other trainings and stuff ;)

During the simulation playing on.... The fixed axis of Geneva wheel gets reset after every rotation.....(observe the centre yellow portion of geneva wheel during the simulation).... It needs to be rectified I think..... Thank you for overall representation :)

Have CATIA 3D contact joint as like Solidworks and NX ? I made this mechanism on SW &NX

I assume - in fabrication drawings all dimensions are referenced to the origin ( 0,0,0)
