I wanted to say thank you for sharing your art. I read the comments and I am always disheartened to read comments left by people in such a mean spiritied way. You clearly state your position and even ask for insight so you yourself can learn. I found this video by scrolling through neurographic art, yours caught my eye because of the color and way you used squiggly lines. I appreciate that you took the time to show this, encourage those that listened to research and learn more but mostly because you inspired art to happen. Let those that want to bark about copyright and methods and teaching rules continue to bark. You keep doing what you do, I would imagine that the amount of likes listed on your page in comparison to those barking pages would tell the whole story. I would rather inspire and encourage than bark! great work.

Way way back before time began when I was a kid we used to do art like this we named Scribble Scrabbles. We'd scribble with a black crayon and then color all the spaces. Just watching you do this calmed my inner talking and made me happy and quiet. It's beautiful. It looks like inner microscopic, and outer universe space, simultaneously.

That's turning out great 👍. Just wanted to add that what your doing is basically solving your problem and what i mean is this. As your rounding off the sharp corners and softening them your thinking about your problem or whatever is conflicting you. The rounding part is like your fixing the problem and it gives the brain a sense of peace, and relaxation. It's very therapeutic I've tried it myself. I watched it on video with explanation behind it. Thats what I got out of it. 😊

We end up with energy blocks due to unresolved trauma. Electrical impedance. Ppl with spiritual eyes can see these areas of blocked energy and they can heal them if u go to their seminar. This art form /technique allows the one drawing it to set an intention on their own specific issue and open up their neural pathways so there are no longer any energy blocks. It is like opening a dam, widening a river or making a bridge bigger! Ppl get better in their mind and heart...it is beautiful!

Thank you for this, it was soothing to listen to while I was doing my own piece of neurographic art. 😊 Please don't lose your current mindset of 'there's no right or wrong way to do this.' There are some videos on KZbin that will try to ram all these 'rules' and 'correct methods' down your throat - as if any piece created that doesn't rigidly stick to those 'rules' and 'correct methods' is somehow invalid or even worthless as art therapy - and I believe they are far more damaging than any perceived risk of doing this art 'the wrong way.' If something feels good and 'right' to do, then it's therapeutic for that person, and that's what matters far more than sticking to any rigid 'rules.'

I've always been an artist. From the time I was 5 years old. I've been drawing ever since until I had a stroke and can't use my right hand so I've missed creating things, then I found this type of art. I can draw lines with my left hand but it doesn't look right. So I'm going to give it a try. I've got so many art supplies, markers, watercolore and so forth and I miss making use of them. It's time I bring them into play again. 🙂. I liked how your piece turned out.

@lindatannock2 жыл бұрын
@@margaritaamrita8746 creating art isn't "patented". I understand that neurographic painting was originally started by a psychologist or something, and I've watched the original videos about it, and it's meaning. While I fully respect that, you can't say "patented" to someone creating an original piece based on the neographic style of art. That's like saying someone can't use cubism or base art on any other style of art introduced by a master 🤦🏼♀️

I also enjoy participating in art journaling and have just started a neurographic project using Micron archival markers and colored pencils. Very cool concept. Also, from what I could tell, I would recommend you use watercolor paper the next time you paint. It will definitely look a lot nicer and you won't have to worry about the colors bleeding or the paper warping. And especially with the technique you use, the more weight (lb) the paper has, the more water it'll withstand. Hopefully this helps. But yeah! Other than that, this piece looks very cool! Thanks for taking the time to read this and have a wonderful day :)

Pretty; I like. Just to say, I was having a go at this technique and my sharpie was too thick, so I opened a new pack (I had one at home. Hows that for luck?😮) fine point, which was the exact same sort as the one I was using🙄🤭. So it's a finer point one that's needed for rounding out, else the effect is too chunky, for my liking. The second one used in the video looks to be the charm. Is it called 'Fineliner' not 'Fine Point'? So confusing! So not only a nice video, I've seen the pen I need in action doing what I want it to do🤗

I'm not entirely sure. It will probably vary depending on the individual. If they are frustrated easily and they expect it to result in a specific appearance then it might not be good for them. However if as an artist they are open to new possibilities and they believe the process is the best part and the end result is flexible then it should be great for anyone.

Thanks for your anwser. I could see that is a very fine motricity control of our hands, and there are details like shape the corners, or fill the spaces, which disable people will never able to achive.
