I did PT for buttock and hip pain twice. I was walking with a cane. First one side then the other. I am age 70 female. What finally relieved the pain was treadmill walking at a 4% incline at 2 mph. I do it every day ...for just 10 minutes...and no more pain! Miracle!!!

Glad I found this video. I have been having back, hip, leg pain for many years. my primary doctor order me to do physical therapy, it does not help me. What medication should I be talking to help with the pain. I do try walking, and after I'm done I lay down with even more pain on the right side of my body... What should ii be doing to help with this pain

Will a tentz unit help? My doctor says nerve ablation is needed but all the problem won't be fixed... just numbs pain.

Thanks for the info. I have had lower back pain for years, sometimes when I couldn't bend to pick up the newspaper, I'd try to kick it which caues excruciating pain. Now in my 60's as time past, I can hardly sleep on my hips w/o pain and my thighs goes into spasm when I get up to walk which is hurtful/ embarrassing. What could be the cause of that?

Sounds like you need to see someone who can do a good examination on you. Maybe your primary doc can handle it, or you could see a PM&R doctor (they specialize in musculoskeletal conditions).

Does lower back pain have anything to do with epilepsy or seizure disorder?
@Marco-nx5tj6 жыл бұрын
Laura Medina you can hurt your back during a seizure
@AndrewReevesNeurology6 жыл бұрын
Other than what Marco says, not really. I don't take care of a ton of back pain cases, but folks who have something else often also complain of back pain. Some causes are easily diagnosed but often missed, so I wanted to make a quick video about those things.

I have ms but always have lower back ache. What do I do
@AndrewReevesNeurology4 жыл бұрын
I always tell my MS patients, "Having MS doesn't protect you from anything else," so we often have to look for other problems--like the ones mentioned in the video.
