I received most of my knowledge after I was in my middle 40s. That's when I started reading my Bible daily. I received so much wisdom & my whole life changed! Thank u for this awesome knowledge. I also started listening to KZbin in my late 40s. This is an awesome video!!!

You don’t gain wisdom by reading books and especially not the Bible. You get it through living life.

The story about phineas gage was taught in my undergrad and the initial symptoms he showed were mostly misrepresented, but still shows strong evidence for nueroplasticity. Also the rod was heated significantly and the instant cauterizing of the wounds aided his ability to survive the accident.

While i understand the importance of getting 7 to 8 hours of sleep, i don't understand how to get 7 to 8 hours of sleep. I tend to wake up after 5.5 to 6.5 hours of sleep per night. I'm not using an alarm or anything. So, how do i train or get my mody to sleep longer?
@juliemarkham433225 күн бұрын
Exercise more. Back off caffeine. Get blackout curtains (gamechanger for me).

make peace with it, trust me i tried everything still cant sleep for more than 5 hours in one go and than cant fall asleep again after waking up no matter if its 3 or 4 or 5 in the morning, my struggle is 20 years long, finally i made peace with it and don't let it affect me anymore and yes I'm successful by the definition of our world.

Just read a book before going sleep and there are teas to help you go asleep just look them up.

Do we actually have more roads than houses in a town? Is that really a good analogy? Just thinking 🤔
@princetrevez9 күн бұрын
It may not be a perfect analogy but it made complete sense to me. The neural pathways are the roads and neurons are the houses. 🧠

This sounds like it was probably a great book. And while most of your content has been pretty phenomenal, this video feels subpar and lazy like you're reading an AI generated summary or Sparknotes. This is essentially a video of audacious and unsubstantiated claims. Which is NOT what the book does and is a little offensive to those who put the time in to research each of these topics. I can understand pandering to the lowest attention span of your audience. I know one follower doesn't matter to an "influencer & content creator/curator" but if you're not going to do it right, why do it? There are KZbin pages just like this one popping up and will take your place in at least my subscription list if this becomes the norm (I know, comments section is already telling me to GFM lol)

This video is narrated like it is this is it, and there is nothing more to it 🤦♂️ Take it with a pinch of salt. For example, not all of us need 7-8 hours sleep.
@jeremydossey795621 күн бұрын
Yeah this video is lazy IMO. They've had much better but this is just one bold statement after another without any mention of how the "conclusion" was made and the very important nuances and caveats to each
