The jar opening thing is brilliant. My mother taught me to take a butter knife and hit the jar at an angle with the butt end of it. Works every time.

Thanks So much Amy for sharing these hacks! I also had from watching Jacques Pépin, to avoid getting egg shells into the bowl, is by cracking the eggs on the kitchen counter, or a flat surface, you won’t get small pieces of egg shells into the bowl. Have a wonderful summer ❤
