That's me. I spend about 2 hours smoothing my buttercream when I make 4 birthday cakes a year for my family. I realized that making the buttercream a little smoother makes it easier. Just add a little extra milk. Beautiful finish Amy!

Great tutorial Amy I'm glad its not just me, as it takes me ages also to get my cake smooth and I agree some days i can have success and other days its a total disaster. Some days I am more particular and other days I just get to a point of that will do and hopefully the drip hides it

Too much pressure then while you’re scraping. Use much less pressure
