Greetings to this important channel from the Caribbean Sea, specifically from the Dominican Republic. The West must accept that the countries that created BRICS and then those that join its digital platform for international business, have not done so for reasons of making SWIFT disappear or weakening, but rather simply to have their own system where they can exercise freedom without sanctions, blackmail or abuse of any kind.

It's not anti-West, it's just pro-peace, pro-sovereignty, pro-plurality of systems, pro-development 🤍 really hoping BRICS+ can help North Korea & Cuba, they deserve better. SWIFT has been very discriminatory toward Muslims (trust me, my last name is Malik, I'd know). Good riddance. Trading with a currency with pictures of slave-owners on its bills is bad juju anyway. If it was not for the west, slavery would still exist. No civilization or culture are angels. However, the British were the first to present the concept that slavery was evil. Muslim powers like the Ottoman Empire had been importing millions of slaves from Slavic lands for hundreds of years. That is the definition of the word slave. The slave trade in Africa could have never existed if it was not the acceptance of slavery by African victors in tribal wars. Islam accepted slavery. It was not until Deist influence in the English empire came along to change the narrative.

Prof Anuradha Chenoy is absolutely right, BRICS is not an anti-West bloc but nations that seek to exercise their rights to create or set an independent financial system to trade outside of the existing Western controlled financial system eg. mBridge over SWIFT. USA is free to trade with them in USD but nations can decide on the currencies between them apart from USD. Trump in threatening to slapped 100% tariff on BRICS nation is simply unacceptable and will lead to faster dedollarisation or countries dumping their US dollar reserve they are holding.

In 1975/6 the Naira exchange rate to the $ was N0.62. Today, the same $ is being exchanged for almost N1,800. Over the period, the Naira has depreciated by 2,903% - a fair measure of the extent to which the American government is enslaving the Nigerian citizenry. So if a way emerges, as the BRICS system has, it should be embraced.

After WW2 the USA was by far the worlds strongest economy. Since that time the US has controlled world finances, and markets using amongst other controlling measures, the world bank, the IMF, the petrodollar, and ensuring all commodities are traded only in US dollars, leaving other nations with no choice, and risking sanctions, and other punishments if they dare to deviate. Most people have no idea (thanks to massive amounts of propaganda) just how ruthless and controlling the US, and before them the British have been, purely to keep world hegemony and therefore control.

The Hollywood stories vs the Bollywood stories. But, it's not that facile. There's much overlap. The clarity comes with constant and multilevel inspection of both systems and attitudes based on culture, religion, history and beliefs. There's no right and wrong in general , but there are attitudinal problems galore. And there can be countenanced no genocide, ecocide, or wars using one peoples as a weapon against another for the purpose of mass theft and or mass death. Intentionality is a 'thing' within this meaning. We need to get along to the benefit of all life and natural ecosystems. Too much to ask? It might be. We haven't shown any ability to control ourselves thus far. And, I haven't heard how climate and environment fit into this financial construction yet. Neither for the USD nor any discussion within the BRICS. It's more than Green bonds. The climate doesn't respond to financial instruments or structures, it's physics. The climate doesn't respond to fiscal measures or percieved clever financial engineering and sexy instruments. The financial economy fits inside nature and life systems. But we don't yet appear to understand that yet. We live under ideologies.

What is USDollar in reality? Same painted paper as all other fiat money. USD is NOT money proper, it is a promissory note, kind of Bill of Payment. Gold snd Silver is real, mineral resources are real. Bankers and Financial Gamblers must be kept under tight State Control and Regulation. Federal Reserve System is a private entity, so it's unreliable and potentially dangerous. Take, for instance the US Sovereign debt which is unimaginable and keeps growing. To whom the US people have to pay the Federal/Sovereign debt? Isn't it really strange?

No how much pain to set up a Brics system of trade using national currency , the Brics organisation will be successful in the end as the US government policy on sanctions of other countries using the use of USD accelerates as time goes on.The US intense pressure pushes the Brics members to work doubly hard to de-dollarization.. Such trend is not reversible as the US political system is anti-multilateralism.

The Western definition of “Against the West” is any country that does not bend to Western dictates. So any further discussion is moot. Any move away from the dollar by establishing independent financial systems is a threat to the dollar as the global reserve currency, which underpins American hegemony (as they lose technological, political, economic, and progressively, military primacy), so this is also absolutely unacceptable to the U.S. (and by extension, all vassal states of the West). The adoption of the French language by Niger is not a “benefit”, but a form of cultural imperialism as part of its colonisation, or to put it in the current terms preferred by the “West”, Cultural Genocide. It would be rather like saying that the Native Americans received huge benefits from gaining the use of the English language. I think there is no need to bend over backwards to try to acknowledge “huge benefits” accruing from the period of brutal Western colonisation, domination, and continuing exploitation.

Dynastic cycle (traditional Chinese: 朝代循環; simplified Chinese: 朝代循环; pinyin: Cháodài Xúnhuán) is an important political theory in Chinese history. According to this theory, each dynasty of China rises to a political, cultural, and economic peak and then, because of moral corruption, declines, loses the Mandate of Heaven, and falls, only to be replaced by a new dynasty. The cycle then repeats under a surface pattern of repetitive motifs.[1] - Wikipedia

If currencies were fully digital then we can have a swap done between countries based on a predetermined exchange rate. So that way countries don’t have to hold currencies of the other. We could also have a reserve currency that is tethered to select currencies and metals to give it some stability then each country can trade with that if they choose to. The Dollar would still be there but there’s so much trade that isn’t even happening because most chose or were forced to be in an old system. So many of our brothers and sisters in the human race have been left behind because of this. It’s time to spread the wealth and opportunities globally. 😢

You either develop a system against sanctions or you don't. Seems like countries want to pick and choose features, still respecting illegal sanctions and simply taking advantage of countries affected by direct sanctions. So Russia is stuck with rupees it can't buy enough with and can only invest in Indian economy. So where is the benefit for Russia?

Every new initiative starts that way. There is a difference between the ruling class and the peasants. Americans are just an extension of the Imperial European in a different guise. To your Rupee Rubel question look at what the Russians have done in the last few weeks. They are making Railway carriages in India. So that is your answer. More outsourcing of Russian Manufacturing of high value commodities. Including defence equipment so they get their money's worth.

Curious why not go on a bitcoin standard to protect against inflationary pressures imposed by unelected officials randomly setting the price of money and forcing currency devaluation via printing? It is also a disincentives war (the most common excuse used to print I think.

BRICS will be find it very difficult. The problem comes back to the issue of Neutrality Studies. The countries that run the world find it easier to get along because they are like minded. Thus the moniker, the "Collective West". BRICS is composed of disparate countries that either have nothing in common, are rivals, if not outright enemies. How can India and China agree on a common currency if they cannot agree on their border? How can Iran and Saudi Arabia agree on a common currency if they cannot agree on a common religion? These countries will always bicker and be at odds. The advantage of an alliance is everyone finds common cause. There is no common cause. Turkey is attempting to poach Iran in Syria. Saudi Arabia and Iran back different factions in Yemen. China is upset at Russia getting closer to North Korea. The only countries that do not bicker, are on different continents. And these combatents who fight each other more than the collective west are going to make a common currency?

Well time has changed , countries are becoming mature and growing . It’s typical big family dynamics where a big brother wants to create hegemony just be elder while others who have different age groups n differences doesn’t like to sit on the table but they to cohabitate for their respective families . They know war is loss game to play so let’s do the fair trade and get prosperity this way mass population don’t get a chance to create another revolution . Hence able to control efficiently

@@vv-cv6ud Control is a very authoritarian thing. If the United States is big brother, who is in control? The president has no control of budget. Biden could not get aid for Ukraine and Trump could not build a wall. If congress oversteps its bounds, the courts can intervene if they sense overreach. That is the silly thing with Neutrality Studies. They see the world through the lens of a tyrant. Except there is no one in charge.

BRICS countries have a lot in common. 1. Sovereignty 2. Fair trade 3. Resources 4. Peace not war 5. Young working age population 6. Development goals The list goes on. The only things the collective west have in common is. 1. Control 2. Poisen 3. Kill 4. Sacrifice everyone 5. Greed. 6. Ongoing conflicts 7. Bribe and blackmail poorer countries. 8. Sanctions 9. War 10. Push drugs 11. Push pedofilia 12. Push sex 13. Push destruction of family unit 14. Push false gods (celebrities) 15. Push the idea that everyone outside your country is your enemy. The list goes on. These are all very obvious to the rest of the world.

If we go down that digital money road we will be no better than the iron coins struck by the failing roman empire when they ran out of gold and silver. Anyone can make iron coins . Why is the New Bank using 50% dollar. It seems that dedollarization is merely political not actual. The best approach is for BRICS to have its own currency. Any country needing to trade within and outwith BRICS can buy the BRICS currency, albeit at no cost and profit to BRICS traders. Using the dollar is a disaster!

The West fuels inequality by hiring "cheap" Indian workers, exploiting the falling Rupee. While these workers thrive again on stagnating assets, 99% face inflation. Meanwhile, in the West, local workers struggle with job displacement and wage stagnation, deepening disparities. Indians are replacing Americans. They are thriving over the decades, with the falling Rupee, they are leveraging their income to acquire real generational assets in India and invest in Indian stocks. This is further fueling rush to get to the west. #Tariff/s are a hidden tax on American consumers, raising the cost of goods and services they rely on. Similarly, #H1B effectively operates as a hidden tax on Americans by prioritizing cheaper foreign labor over investing in local talent and workforce development. Indians have displaced middle-class Americans from their own workplaces, treating them like the modern-day untouchables of corporate America. Most Indians in America are upper caste Brahmins. Brahmins account for approximately 4-5% of India's population. US getting there.

Hopefully, the U.S. will stop giving away billions of dollars in aid and loans every year and give it back to US taxpayer’s who work for that money. BRICS financial system will be a great help to its member states, and they can loan and aid each other. The U.S. will hopefully just mind it’s own business…let sovereign nation’s take care of themselves. Trade not aid. That’s the way it should be. ❤
