I hate that all of their "bug fixes" is just a characters nerfs and they will never fix actual bugs that doesn't benefit the players, like Monas C1

@@aleksandrG except their sweet local region characters. And G forbid their archon is as strong as a wet noodle. Nope, we gotta buff that, plus liyue chars having 0 nerfs to my knowledge.... Odd.... Considering someone like bennett since 1.0 has had 0 changes, BUT, Barbara and her ability to create dozens of dendro cores in seconds was not safe....

This might sound dumb but I think Hoyo knew people would go bombastic abt this so they are trying to show the players they are going to start listening just slightly more from before. There is no way they are so ignorant to not think they will experience extreme backlash from such a thing.

Newbielet is being nerfed since long ago: at first he can colletct the hp water drops from all around and then an update happens and he cant collect the ones behind him now, these change wasnt in that past upgrade notes so... they were slowly nerfing sad dragon without tellin anyone... and about the 1600 primos of course we get 600 every update so expect theyll just remove some primos from nathlan world quest or exploration... who is goin to notice?

I know it might sound a little unorthodox and even reaching but I think also a part of why they did this is they wanted players to complain and then to "oh so generously" listen to their players and make them feel better. cause at the end they got a ten pull and everything went back to how it should have been. In sense they want the players to feel like the devs will listen when something is wrong. Which has been a huge counterargument towards genshin for some time now in comparison to hsr, wuwa etc and don't forget the 3 magic words .

I think it is more got to do with them *having* to respond since some people wanted ti take legal action. Their lawyers probably told them they would lose out and given Neuvillette's recent rerun, most customers could still be within a chargeback window (normally 6 months).

Spin to win was an unhealthy feature though. I'd be glad if it got removed. Hoyo only listens to cn community so I wish the CN players would complain about more relevant things instead of this stupid feature.

I agree that it was unhealthy, and as per the video, I did raise it with Hoyo in 4.1. But since it was never addressed in 9 months until suddenly now, after his rerun, it feels scummy to take it away. They were happy to change Yae Miko in 2.4 post release and reverted it and honestly that should have happened to Neuvillette.

I was surprised when i saw 700 primogems when the servers were up but at the same time thanks for the free primogems and fix the issue. Now S2W attacks again!!! But why suddenly wan't to do these changes instead of the ones that really matter??? we will never going to know.

They were nerfing him to promote new character but got taste of L in that process and had to give apologems, lmao like if they can just give 1600 just like that, why are they withholding it like some scarce resources and give next to nothing during anniversary, that is so sad!!!

I mean, that goes to show you MHY's double standard for some characters and "mechanics". Let's call them what they are: bugs But I wonder: If they actually care about an unintended usefulness for a character and it's potental to hinder new sales... why apply it to some and not to others? Yes, I'm sick of saying it; we all have heard it, but I guess the community did not care at the time. *Kokomi should be able to walk on water just like Furina.* I mean, do it permanently!! Both work great together, the first doesn't affect sales for the latter. I think even Neuvi should be doing that. Locking something useful to only 3 characters. 1 Pseudo archon, and 2 dragon related characters (more vishap I guess?)

This is exactly what I complained about when Furina released: Hoyo releases an entire drown mechanic, swimming stamina, Kokomi walk on water for 10secs and not make it overpowered...BOOM Furina defies all logic. It is a little sad 🥲

It was actually a double-edged sword if she didn't heal enough, but no, her skill was sent to the uselessness bin once again. And funnily enough, they nerfed the dendro reactions but not the hydro application to enemies and herself.... odd.... if you ask me....

I didn't even use spin to win prior but them removing a cool mechanic, just because it's 'unintended' almost made me quit the game again. I don't really understand why you hate it, as it's not really a broken mechanic. Just gives more freedom to players.. Really glad they revoked it
