"Never Back Down 2" Stars Michael Jai White + Scottie Epstein

MMA H.E.A.T.'s Karyn Bryant sits down with the stars of "Never Back Down 2," Michael Jai White and Scottie Epstein, and gets the story behind the sequel to the hit MMA movie. Michael, who also directed the film, lets us know the storyline and tells us how he was able to get former UFC Light Heavyweight champ Lyoto Machida to play a role. Scottie discusses the fight scenes and the importance of making them look legitimate to a very savvy MMA audience. There's also talk of Steven Seagal: some playful jabs at the man Michael has worked with several times in the past and who has become quite the player in MMA today.

I agree and I still want to see the third move but can't find it on Netflix. Scottie's voice sounds COMPLETELY different in this video compared to his voice in the movie. I can't believes he's 50 this year. Also I haven't watched a LOT of M.M.A. so there is no way I could look at some of the moves in this movie and automatically recall the name of a fighter who performed it in a match. I also own "U.F.C. Undisputed" on Playstation 3.

gotta admit anderson silva wouldn't have ko'd vitor like that if segal didn't show him a better way of kicking but the kick that anderson threw was a front kick not an up kick up kicks are what rory and carlos throw its more of a push to it not a push kick push kicks are different ok back to front kick ok front kicks you use the just under your toes so when you kick theres a sudden gripping stop to it which leads to the result of vitor if done right so segal just traind anderson 2 master it ATIW

@Andy81293 i just saw it and most of the moves are pretty real. Alot of 10th planet stuff on the ground though. Some capoeira and crazy taekwondo standing up, but nothing you haven't seen before in real life. The scenes here are probably the most flashy things in the film to be honest.

@facey55 you bet the movie was assume nobody even heard of the first one? I'm not really sure what that means. And ya the storyline sucked. It was very generic. There was no character development, and the plot was formulaic. I only watched to to support Scotty Epstein and Eddie bravo who are family, and watch the fights. But the movie sucked. Some movies just have better storylines than others. That's how the world works.
