NEVER buy a vacation club from RCI or Sirenis resorts!

After 2 years of frustration I thought I’d share what a scam this company is. High pressure sales associates make false claims!

Well I was held hostage for like 6 hours during my vacation and just wanted out. I said no about 20 times. You have no idea of the pressure in those situations.

Don't use RCI or any timeshare exchange for your vacations. These resorts are not giving you the stays.. it's other time share owners trading their stays. Just like a stock market exchange,, if there are not high volumes of traders.. there's nothing available.

Thank you for making this video! I just went to one of their presentations and got the free vacation to Honolulu or Cancun. I did not sign up as it was $6888-they claim you have to book in advance to get anything good! Have you tried that too? Maintenance fees they said was $398 or something like that annually. We declined respectfully but it really sounded like a great deal to have 4 vacations per year for life. Are you still having trouble with booking?

don't do it..... all lies. we have been trying to use our points for 2 years now and on top of the cost, maintenance fees and TLC fees you also have to pay fees to book. IF THEY HAVE ANYTHING IN THE AREA YOU WANT . GETTING OUT OF IT, UNFORTUNATELY WE LOST LOTS OF MONEY AS WELL.. BOY DID THEY SEE US COMING..

I know this is old but wondering if you were on weeks or points. I’m on points and have been able to take at least 2 full week vacations each year using points plus a few weekend getaways. But yea I do agree that time and location can really limit your options.

I was given 52 weeks but it’s still points. I have to pay $200 or so in order to “combine deposits” if I don’t want to go back to sirenis in Mexico. Even if I did I would have to pay thousands of dollars bc it’s all inclusive.

I have used rci for years and have been happy with my holidays. Yes the directory can be frustrating but I phone up and they are super helpful. So sad your having a bad time as it must be off putting.

@@sebastianshields3891 DON'T DO IT!! I have a platinum membership with RCI and it's the worst thing we did. They are LIARS. First of all, the all Inclusive Hotels you can only stay there once or twice, after that you get hoteles you don't want to stay. For example; if you want to go to Paris, the hotels available are either in some mountain in France far from Paris or you find a hotel you like, but you would have to spend all your points to stay and so it would basically be like spending 20 thousand dollars on 2 shitty vacations. THE FEES. If you think just because you've spent 20,000 dollars on a membership, you're good? You're WRONG. most of those hotels have so many fees that you basically end up paying double. Maintenance fee, city fee, cleaning fee, resort fee, this fee, that fee. And the thing about it is that a lot of those fees are, per person, per day. I mean, they charge crazy, ridiculous fees. Seriously, you're better off saving your money and planning the trip on your own without any bullshit timeshare, specially RCI.

I have tried every way imaginable. I promise. Dates first, locations first, then now everything on there is “exchange plus” so no matter where I want to go it’s still $999 to use it. I can book my own vacation to the same place cheaper.
