I was on the path to self sufficiency in growing garlic, but this year it all blew apart. Last year's harvest was bountiful & beautiful, but this year it wasn't. So I had to buy seed garlic. And I'm starting over in a new bed, so hopefully next year will be better. I still had enough to share this year, but it was nothing like last year. I will always grow garlic!

I haven't had much success with container garlic. 2 yrs ago I interplanted but they were not that big. So I KZbind a video that said I need to Soak garlic in baking soda & humic acid. Put in a fabric pot. Covered with mulch. Then put chicken wire over. I have lots of squirrels on my deck (live in a townhouse) but not anything popper up. Guess they turned to mulch. They were good garlic from a pretty well known source so I know they were good. I get seed from them & it's always amazing. They did a video few days ago but for in ground. They didn't meantion soaking. Just put fertilizer & granulated sulfer, Plant, mulch & water. Make me made that that people give false info. Thank you for posting.

Dehydrate them, put them in a mason jar vscuum seal it and it lasts forever.

Can you buy garlic from the store and plant them.
