This is excellent advice for newcomers. This is for me making sneakers the most fundamental thing I've had to consider. I did have a good look around the Internet to see what was available for purchase but I ultimately concluded 3D modeling and 3D printing is probably the best way to go, and it is! its amazing ! ive now got Lasts and Units to my design LOL and a 3d printer can make cool componentry as well !

hello i was thinking on how i begin making my own shoe the way i want it to be and figured i will need to make custom lasts any tips on creating lasts that are identical to my feet?

i modeled my Last in 3ds Max but if your new get Blender its free & lots of tutorials on KZbin. spend a week or 5 learning Polly modeling, ( its not that hard really LOL ) get a cheep 3d printer... print! LOL ! i have videos 2 :)
