Some remanufacturers do not rebuild their parts. They clean and paint them and then sell them cheap. Master cylinders are easy to rebuild. I have done it in past. Just be sure to hone it out with sandpaper and then replace all seals. I have bought lots of remanufactured parts in past. Sometimes you do get a bad one and simply have to swap it out again. Sometimes you are better off just buying a new one, like alternators and starters. Anything electrical.

That's what I tell people. They should buy new ones! Or rebuild the old ones themselves. That way they will know they did a great job!

I've tried pressure bleeding my brakes and got all the way to the front right, and it air keeps coming out the bleeder screw. is this a sign of bad master cylinder as well?

Keep bleeding it. If still no luck, loosen the RF brake line from the master cylinder and try to bleed it from the master cylinder side. See if you’re still getting air bubbles

With so many places offering parts for the W123 or other models,why do you have to buy remanufactured parts, ther is a catalog that covers all Mercedes Benz models, by model plus what they do is that they offer some used good parts, like second hand, but they are original, Mercedes Benz should only use .original parts, as much as possible,

Pry out the center with a small plastic tool, then there is a screw under the inner trim piece.
