Kind of odd, too. A regular FoW and a regular Mana Crypt are close in price. A regular showcase Crypt is $100 less than a regular showcase FoW. A foil showcase Crypt is $50 cheaper than a regular showcase FoW, and half the price of a foil showcase FoW. I wonder what the pull rate is for everyone else.

Because I don't see it here - a little late.... The top shelf mythics comes out to about $1500 circa 2022. Each Force of Will $292 (3x), Avacyn, Angel of Hope $116, Blightsteal $113, Mox Opal $105, Sword of Fire and Ice $101, Kaalia of the Vast $88, Sword of Light and Shadow $43, Sword of War and Peace $34, Sneak Attack $26, Batterskull $18. That's just the top shelf stuff, and doesn't count the other high value stuff he threw into the other pile like the foil Borderless Stoneforge Mystic ($68) foil Borderless Toxic Deluge ($36, x2), foil Borderless Cyclonic Rift ($66), Foil Borderless Academy Ruins ($19, x2), Foil Exploration ($26), 2-3 tron lands ($17), Foil Kaalia ($30), etc. Off the top of my head just counting the above that's ~$1851.... but almost half of the value is Force of Wills ($876). There's probably at least another $100-200 in rares and uncommons, so call total value of the opening in 2022 something over $2,000. Cheapest I saw these go for was $87 on amazon, so opening 16 of them puts the best case price (no tax) somewhere close to $1400. Same boxes today at cheapest would be about $2800 on TCG Player. Moral of the story: get in early and be prepared to wait a while. Even then, while you can swing a pretty penny you have to get pretty lucky. Swap the Force of Wills out for anything but Mana Crypt and this box falls pretty steeply in value - potentially even losing money. Sealed product appreciates a lot faster and more consistently than opened product.

John, I am new to magic. Actually haven't opened a real (just arena) pack or played a real game ever because I became interested during covid. Because of this I am going to have to request you give me all those cards. I will of course return them when I am done. I looked up force of will and I don't know if the prices are accurate or reasonable but I see most up for sale for $300+ that seems insane to me.
