I think the showcase commons and uncommons kind of ruined this product for me since they have relatively high pull rates. Should have just had a common or uncommon showcase slot in addition to the rare and mythic slots. Even though opening more packs ups your chances, I can't afford to buy 3 boxes!

Is meddling mage that bad of a card? I'm kind of a kitchen table player, but this feels like a fairly decent card. That being said, in an extanded art slot of a 100 dollar booster, I get that it might annoy some people. I had one in the only pack I opened but didn't bother too much about it.

My sub-case had a total value of $260 ($400 spent)..talk about yikes. All but one normal rare was $1 or less (the good rare being maze of ith) and the box toppers were (5 of 8 of them being "upgraded rarity") the lower end values. Oh, and there was only 1 mythic T_T
