Look, Chris. Me and my girlfriend have been together for over a year. When she tried to argue, I'd always defuse the situation with humor and stuff. I've learned a lot from your videos, so thank you for that. The thing is that yesterday, she was really sad and in a mood which is not normal for her. I was mirroring her emotions and everything. Something still didn't feel right. So I asked her what happened. She didn't want to talk about it, so I went out with my friends and told her to have her ideas cleared out, that I would come back later. I came back a few hours later and she told me that she was dealing with intrusive thoughts, self steem issues (which I knew about a long time ago as she told me about it a few times) and more that shocked me. I talked to her about it, not trying to fix the situation, but reassuring her and letting her express what she had to say and being calmed at all times, even using humor to make the problem seem less that what it was. After all of these, she seemed like she was calmed and happy, her mood changed and thanked me for being there. She came back to normal and showed affection and lots of things, and I still, remained calmed. I know when she's just coming up with some bulls*it and when it is serious, and this time it was something serious. Could this lower her attraction for me or was it the right thing to listen to what she had to say and be there with her? Keep in mind that I give her space, have my hobbies and such, focus on myself so I don't chase her at all. I just want to know if dealing with issues like this would still make a woman pull away from you.

this is very true. there is a difference between knowing the path and walking it. Until I found a good mentor lots of concepts that I practiced didn't get internalized or embodied until that happened in another area of life. In either scenario you want to back off and give them the room that they want. It’s normal for people to second guess their options but that should lead to more conversations rather than pulling back. It’s difficult to know if there is another dude in the background but again pulling back sends the message that she is not sure about you. Just pullback….I have done it many many times and almost 100% of the time they come back later with all the love bombs. Now it’s your call to take them back or just discard and move on. Hey Chris. I’m having a hard time finding a balance with mirroring her actions and not showing her behavior is affecting me. What I mean by that is she is usually talkative everyday but she randomly doesn’t reply for 24-36 hours. If I mirror her actions and don’t reply for 24 hours then she will know that what she did affected me because it’s not really like me. Hi Chris I am from the subcontinent & a Muslim. Seeing a girl for almost 8 months. She is Divorced. career oriented. On average we have met once in 20 days.
