a new group of You Tube viewers, motoring enthusiasts, especially Fiat 126p.
In today's video I will show you one of the ways to renovate, regenerate, clean and adjust the carburetor in our Polish "Maluch". There is an experiment here in the form of soaking the disassembled parts in a solution of water and whitening fluid or toilet descaling fluid.
These substances contain chlorine, which, as you will see in the video, reacts with various types of metals. There is also an experiment of etching carburetor nozzles in an acid-based rust remover. You'll see why not to do it! THIS IS ONLY AN EXPERIMENT AND PLEASE DO NOT DO IT BECAUSE IT MAY DESTROY YOUR CARBURETOR OR BE DANGEROUS FOR YOU!
After the experiment, he shows how to clean and polish individual elements of the carburetor and then reassemble the carburetor. In this video I use an extremely corroded engine and carburetor, so cleaning requires more intensive actions.
I assume that your cars have clean and less corroded parts, so such advanced renovation and cleaning is not necessary.
I trust that this video will be useful to novices who do not know how to dismantle the carburetor in their Fiat 126p because it is shown very precisely, step by step, how to do it correctly.
