yeeeah that is why i do medium sized twists due to that take down lol🤣 the medium size gives me that bounce still and versatility without the dread of the mini twist take down. i salute those of you that do mini twist! you have a different kind of patience. but girl, you are heard. having a baby and mini twist don’t mix. honestly, i don’t care what you do, i’m still going to watch😊 you have been an inspiration all around. i enjoy seeing women with my hair texture

That's exactly how I'm wearing mines until March = Micro mini twists. Yes, they're super cute & give so much style. No issues with locking because I get mines done every 4 weeks. I'm glad you know how good I look 😉. And I pay my 4C Natural stylist to install & take 👇🏿. 💃🏿

I have 4C down to the middle of my back, and even my finger sized twists (8 hours, every refresh AFTER the wash and overnight air dry) have me wanting to re-loc. GURL! No mas. 😂

I realize the key to this is to blow out my hair before installing and then not leaving them in for too long. I can leave it 2 weeks max for it not to tangle up at the roots.

I know the struggle is real this was my go-to style I would wear two strand twist and I did not know that you can lock your hair this way I am I have 4C hair I had locs still have my locs and i had to save my hair for the last time so i cut them off yesterday and going to grow my hair out again and then im going to reattach them back in people always used to compliment me on my hair they said your locs are so pretty but 😂they were actually mini twist.wish me luck.

This is why I prefer single braids over twists. My hair is fine and will lock up in 2 weeks with twists. I can keep braids in for 2 or more months with no tangling at the roots.

@@JennJackson lol they take longer but the detangling is easier since the hair stays stretched longer imo. I’m going to try to take them down with the African pride pre poo next time. I saw someone do this and it looked easier. I must add I don’t do them as small as your twist. My braids are more like small-medium instead of micro-mini.

You know I'm still waiting for you to come on over to the locked side!!! That initial installation would've been the most time consuming part. You wouldn't have to retwist them, just interlock and go for another 6-8 weeks!
