He didnt't change key.... He went up an octave in the same key. Even if he did change the 'key' it would be a modulation not a key change. A key change refers to a different part of the song being in a different key rather than the same part of a song being in a different key of chord 2, 3, 5 or 6 in the previous key. :)

i can't help but imagine someone alone on a stage (or thinking they're alone) and a spotlight was left on after closing and they just start singing because they love it and they get so lost in the music they don't even realize people have sat down; they get so into it that they're just dancing around the stage belting out every note and that last quiet "for me" is when they finally see the small crowd of strangers and friends and get self-conscious again

HE DID THE SONG!!! I ASKED HIM IF HE COULD DO THE SONG AND HE DID??? DID HE SEE MY REQUEST???
Actually, I think if you could do "The Other Side" with Jonathan that would be really cool!

THAT KEY CHANGE THOUGH
@johningram21536 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it's super. The key remains the same, but he goes up to the octave where he should have sung the whole song. Really, really strong from there to the end.

actually I think it's kinda lame and repetitive through all of his videos. It's not really a challenge

Daniel Ornelas Kinda same, he always does the same thing Some songs just aren't made to be sung in the lower range lol

This wasnt the song i wanted, but I am so glad you've finally started covering The Greatest Showman. The music in that film is incredible, and you did a great job with this one! I really want A Million Dreams, From Now On, or a duet of The Other Side if you can find a willing partner (Jonathan Young?)

This is absolutely beautiful. Like always you've out done yourself and sang with passion and emotion that makes the song 10 times better than the original. You've given the song the credit it deserves my friend. You're just amazing and I love your chanel, stay awesome 😊💙

I came as quickly as I could. And I just have to say, OMG. I love this song and I loved the movie! This is one of my favorite songs from The Greatest Showman. This song and This Is Me are my favorites. Speaking of that! Do you think you could do a cover of This Is Me from The Greatest Showman? That would be so cool and epic to see. Just a suggestion though. 😊 And this cover made me tear up. Great job Caleb! You're such an inspiration! I love you and your work! Never stop singing Caleb cause you are awesome! \m/ 💖

Hi Caleb I recently started learning this song and figuring out my vocal technique to match the original. I have to say that damn its a very powerful song and very difficult for a male. Then I heard your version and its motivated me to work harder on the song. Hats off to you my man, you are awesome!!

I freaking LOVE this cover because of the way you stick to your own rising of the chorus. It's amazing to see your range and dedication. I'm just blown away and I love your voice.
