This was hilarious lol. I used to install alot of the bee*r ones back in the day. It actually looks like its working perfectly which is surprising for a fake one, but you guys need to adjust rev 1 and rev 2 appropriately. One controls the overall redline, and one controls the "launch" function with the ebrake. Having it turned all the way down will make it limit to like 500rpm which is why the car just dies. When gain is on 0 the system is off, and the higher you turn the gain up, the more bang bang.

@@levibazen608 there was nothing to limit, all they did was earth out the cam signal. This wont work, it has to be the coil that's earthed. The pops and bangs come from the unburnt fuel burning in the exhaust or turbo when sparks not present because of the rev limiter.

The reason of the legit JDM Bee R box is it is used as a Rev limiter, the first setting allows you to set revs when driving like drifting so not to over rev and hit the fuel cut on the oem ecu and damage your engine and the second setting you can set launch control with the handbrake, it does this by ignition cut not fuel cut as fuel cut would damage the engine at high rpms. And also used to spit flames 🔥 Tip - Use wire T taps to connect wires.

Hey Moog and Marty, Try this; Connect the cable marty chew apart on the device. There is no chopping of cables on the device needed acording to cylinders etc. they should stay in tact. So connect back grey wire. As far for the hand brake switch; dont use it and dont connect it to the handbrake. Buy a general switch and connect it to that so you can controll on and of for the device more precise and practical. The tuning should be like this; The gain/yellow should be 0-1 (1 is better) White should be 4-5 Red should be 5-6 (i prefer like this) This should work for most guys, at least for those using BEE-R The reason the engine dies is you guys have limited the rev to 0 😂🤷🏻‍♂️ so ignition cuts but the ecu tries hard to keep it alive but dies in the end anyway since you force it with the device 🤣🤷🏻‍♂️ Sending you guys love ❤️

Many years ago I had a ZC swapped civic hatch that I installed a proper Bee*R rev box in. It shot some of the craziest flames I’ve seen out of an NA car, until it soda canned the muffler 😂

Its amazing anything ever worked for us in the 90's. my s13 200sx had a motec ecu tape fitted when i bought it. removed and refitted with new gen half loom. duck tape removed from engine bay boost valve and blow off valve refitted into new boost pipes made from silcon and hose clamps used lol
