Just a suggestion just in case Eddy decides not to eat his meds in his grain. The way I give my horses meds when I have to give them any. I'd crush the pills and let them dissolve in applesauce and put it in a larger syringe and shot it is his mouth just like warmer. Buy my gelding will eat it just mix it in applesauce and he eats the applesauce out of his grain pan.

We had a red fox when we lived in AR and she stuck around for a couple of years. She'd lay on a stump and watch us mow, she kept the mice population down and never bothered the neighbors chickens or our rabbits.

Years ago when I had my hone, I had 92 wooded acres behind me. I had a red fox who use to come every evening for 2 hotdogs. After I started to feed her she left everyone's chickens alone. She would actually sit there at 5pm and wait for me to come to the kitchen side window. I have to admit she got 2 sugar cookies at Christmas and Easter tho. If she was extra hungry she would take bread slices I'd throw out fir the birds and take them home with her.

I don't do Halloween. It's a reaction to stories I have read and some history on the "holiday." It used to be that the holiday was all saints day. Then "all hallows eve" took over as the "holiday".

Just thought I would say that the talking horse from late 1960's to early 70's called Mr. Ed is buried in central Oklahoma on a ranch. Even a large tumb stone is on the property. Verizon and ATT trail cameras work well in your part of the State.

Welcome to Scottish land ownership! I've been Lord William for a good while. Muzzle loader and bow overlap in some States. NM used to have what they called "Primitive Weapons" season, where you could use regular bows, muzzle loaders and (If disabled) crossbows. No modern inline muzzle loaders, or modern compound bows. That's when I usually hunted, as I had (Still have) a Hawkins style cap lock. Which I've taken several deer and a couple elk, with.

A friend of mine raises red wattle and magnalista (?) pigs. And you can buy one, and pay her monthly and she'll raise it for you for 6 months, then you just pick it up and take it to the processor. She treat trains those piglets, tho. And when I went to pick up mine, we couldn't back my trailer up to her pens, so she just took the scoop with the treats in it, shook it, and led that hog out of the pen and up and into my trailer. No fuss, no muss. I was impressed. Big guy, too - about 300lbs
