I think that last point, be willing to walk away, is very important. Sometimes we like someone who doesn't reciprocate that interest, and we should be willing to respect that and move on to someone else. If we don't, we put our happiness in the hands of someone else. Ultimately, the goal isn't to get that specific person, but to be the type of person that attracts others; it's never about winning over a specific friend, but to be the type of person who others want to be friends with.

Being rude is easy. It does not take any effort and is a sign of weakness and insecurity. Kindness shows great self-discipline and strong self-esteem. Being kind is not always easy when dealing with rude people. Kindness is a sign of a person who has done a lot of personal work and has come to a great self-understanding and wisdom. Choose to be kind over being right, and you'll be right every time because kindness is a sign of strength.

*If they really like/love you, as friends or lovers, don't worry, they will eventually come back to you* . They need time for them, or to think about themselves before making a move. They can also be passing through difficult times in their own lives, and it consumes a lot of their energy and time (and maybe they don't want you to see them in that state). It's hard for us, because we want them, and without answers, our mind is going crazy, thinking about the worst and disgusting things, but it's how it is. You and them must pass through that period of silence. As an exemple : it took four months to one of my closest girlfriend (12 years of friendship, we met in hightschool), after an argument, to call me back. I didn't tried to win her back during this period, I just sent her a message for her birthday, or an important date, or just something simple like "take care of you, I hope you are happy and doing fine, and look out for your back pains at work", and stuff like that. Which means 1-2 messages per month at best, but shown her I was still caring for her, even with the distance. When she felt better and had put some order in her life, she was ready to call me back, and did so. The first thing she said was to thank me for all my messages, it helped her during that bad period.

I've been single and now I'm happily in a relationship so I've seen both ends of the spectrum. I think I owe some insight because relationships from the outside are often misleading and have an illusion about them which makes them seem something out of a fairy tale. It's never as easy as it looks. Staying in a relationship is a job that you do 24*7, 365 days. Your actual job isn't half as challenging as staying in a relationship. I would suggest before getting into a relationship work on yourself, get a job or start a business, and put yourself in different situations and difficult situations. Know yourself better. Become a well-put-together person. If you can't keep yourself happy no one can. You need all that to understand the depth of your character because without that you can't possibly understand anothers'. Because love doesn't last. After a few years, you'll be left with sheer mutual understanding and respect. People who extemporaneously rush into a relationship eventually find the rope slipping through their fingers in a game of tug of war.

These rules are not bad, but people are very different. What will cause one to pursue another will in another case cause him to retreat. Playing with people's feelings is a double-edged sword - be careful not to cut yourself! That's why I would say - just be yourself, because that's how (and not through any rules) you will attract the right person for you.

that's not true. I did to see what will happen and she was the sweetest girl and I fell in love with her completely. My friends were confused, they thought that she must have a really good body or something. I didn't care. She started using makeup, dressing better, look better. And then she went to the party while I was out of town and met some guy, had sex with him... So that was the end. Later I met that better guy than me. It turns out he was really ugly... It was years ago, but the girl is writing to me from time to time. Well, she did, until I stopped writing back. There is this woman I like, we became friends over the last couple of years. Recently, I showed that I am interested in her more than what we are right now, friends. I can feel that she likes me, she shares with me the most personal details about her life, but she rejected me the couple of times I asked her for a drink, a meal, or cofee. I didn't force it, I backed down, because I felt she is not there yet in sense whether she is ready to actually become more than friends. I am giving her space, I'm showing that I am not desperate, or needy. There are times when our conversations don't end on a happy note, but I used to took that personally until I realized that it wasn't about me. She has her life, her issues, and I'm not the most important person in the room on every occasion. That is absolutely fine. I love this video, it brings out many important points that people forget when trying to form a relationship with someone. Sometimes, people need time to develop feelings for you. Patient has always been a virtue.
@adamlevy8971 Жыл бұрын
Hi there, Ratnik. I know it may be hard to hear this, and I hate to say it because you seem like a great guy. But dating is not about getting one specific person. There is a saying - "honesty is the best policy". From what I've gathered, you've already communicated you're interested in her, but it seems as if she is not interested in you, and I think it is best for you not to put your happiness in the hope that she will one day change her mind. While this video seems to be geared towards getting that specific person to become attracted to you, you can also use it to become the type of person that you want to be - the kind that attracts others, and does not waste his time on those who aren't interested in him (unless the mutual understand is friendship and nothing more!) I think that is a much healthier mindset, and will put you at ease with yourself. Best wishes.

Be strong and give space Step 2 Take control of your emotions and be happy without the ignoring partner Step 3 Live according to values. True to yourself. Be non compromising. Step 4 Show that your are interested but not needy of that particular partner. Step 5 Become the best version of yourself. Strive to be the best. Set goal and strive Step 6 Being patient with the partner. Step 7 Never take things personally. There may be plenty of other reasons for ignoring you. Thanks for the video. I wish when I was young man I know this content. But luckily I am doing much better now in my older years and still find lots of success. Below are some good mindset tidbit I’ve collected and they help me a lot. Since I cannot share with my “younger self” I want to share these with others: - There is no such thing as a singular soulmate. The world is populated with many great people, so if someone doesn’t reciprocate, it’s ok. Be gracious but move on. - We don’t need others to complete us. We build a lifestyle for ourselves that is productive and fun. Invite others to join us on our adventure. - We should not beg others for the chance to be an extra in their movie. Be the main character in our own story. - We should always give clear signal of interest. That does not mean we give up our mystery, but being bold is much better than creeping in as a “friend.” If we don’t feel the vibe from the other, accept it with grace and move on. They might be attracted to us later-or not, but our fulfillment doesn’t hinge on someone else’s validation. - Be genuinely interested in other people. Speak less, listen more- REALLY listen. How many times have we caught ourselves only listening because we panic about what to say next, and then the other person said something and we’re like “aha! Now I know what to say next,” and then mentally shut down what they are saying until it’s our turn to speak. But then I realize if I listen, there are so many cool things I learn about the other person, because behind every person is a story. When our conversation is about the other person, we can truly build a strong connection even with strangers. - “Looks maxing” is very important and not hard to do. Get in the best shape, get more stylish. Some people are born with godly good looks, but fortunately for men we can easily up ourselves 2-3points on a 1 to 10 scale just by taking care of ourselves. I would also like to hear what others find useful!

Think I've learnt that the more you chase the more they run. We will always wonder why did we get blocked? Why did the communication stopped? And it hurts. It does psychology hurt you emotionally and the victim hasn't done anything. It's unsettling and selfish , the silent treatment hurts so I sympathise anyone going through this. Not only is it hurtful but it's confusing for anyone when someone you’ve been talking to suddenly stops. It can often leave us feeling like we did something wrong or that something is wrong with us. The truth is, communication is a two-way street. We never will know what happened from their end that led them to make that decision and remember that communication is a two-way street. If this happens to you, don't blame yourself. If they want to get back to you they will. The more you go on pushing it will back fire and there's no point. Just believe me it's not your fault and be grateful for the times you've had together if they miss you they will in time reach out. There are people out there that will use you, they will use that to sabotage anything and destroy relationships and they will turn people against you and I believe that's what's happening with me. I know who I am, my conscious is clear, I'd never hurt anyone, just be careful some will hold it against you and make you out as the bad guy and your not! Stay strong, be yourself, and let them chase you. You've done what you can and that's effort right there.

They cant hide away forever if they miss you they will find a way of reaching out somehow or another hope this helps. Im in same position as you. Your not on your own. They need to think about your feelings aswell as themselves really. Its called being a mature responsible individual! Mature men wont keep you waiting forever I promise you. Hope this helps. They dont realise how lucky they are really. They needs to listen to our needs aswell as their own. Just dont let them control you and manipulate you. Its 50/50 always.

As a guy in his early 20s, I’ve always been the one that’s been pushing towards a relationship. My first ended horribly because I got into my head too soon and too quickly. The second back fired before I even got started. Now I’m stuck in a 3rd one where I feel like she’s just replying to my messages but not actually chatting to me. We have went back and forth for 5 months now from once a day messages to like 5-6 times a day. But with this one, I know my shortcomings and know she won’t accept me the way I am. But at the same time, I don’t know if it’s worth pursuing her either. I’m at the stage now, where I’m focusing on my priorities and am willing to just cut it off if she gets bored and stops talking for whatever reason. I’ll try the ones like you’ve said, hopefully it leads to some results. If not then I guess I wasn’t lucky.

To me the most important is learning to submit to the Universe's will. And let other people not love you. Because attraction is such a delicate thing. It cannot be forced absolutely. It's okay for other people to not love me.. Lately I repeat to myself these two sayings like a mantra: 1) When the Universe wants two hearts to meet, It moves both of them, not just one. 2) I don't want anything in this life that doesn't want me back. I am not willing to take anything that is not mine. That is not given to me specifically by the Universe. Because wanting something that doesn't belong to me feels like being a thief. Thiefs also at first want something that doesn't belong to them and then they steal it. So, wanting someone who doesn't belong to me is like being a 50% thief..

This is what happened to me - we both pretended not to be interested in each other. Our eyes, however, said otherwise. I was angry that a man (in my opinion) should know how to show a woman that he wants her, and not act like a clown. His behavior was not mature in my opinion, so I've completely lost interest.

How do I talk to my crush and ask her out? I see her almost every week so it’d be awkward whenever we see each other if things didn’t go well. We’re not friends right now. I’ve talked to her in a group setting and made sure to only focus on her and ask only her questions in the group and I did feel a connection on her end but i’m always asking myself, what if she’s just being nice??

sure, the guy should do that, while you are giving him signs that he will fail. Great deduction. How about you make some effort too? "your eyes said otherwise" That's great, but guys are not mind readers, and you acted not interested... with your women's logic I guess if you were not interested you will be smiling and showing him how special he is? you girls are crazy.

As an avoidant person I would just add something. Be careful about who you pursue. If you are super needy and anxious and need constant reassurance, there’s girls that will absolutely love that. Coming to the quiet independent girl that finds you funny but doesn’t want to be suffocated just isn’t the best option for you. I often feel like guys see me as a ‘safe’ option to talk to and see me as ‘fixable’. No, I just don’t need so much affection and to be talking about love all the time and if you do, then find someone who likes that.

I'm not in a relationship. But i like a guy so much... We've met once because of our match making.. My family approved him... it's strange for me because for the first after such a long time i fell for someone so deep... I felt like having a connection with him... We talked thrice may be on social media... But after that he watches my stories and I wait for him to reply like a stupid... And he never replies.. I feel sad and i cry like i miss him so much...sometimes i want to confess him but other minute i think it'll give a wrong impression to him of me.. And everyday i wait for his messages like a nerd. Everyday i saw his photos and i really really miss him...i badly want to talk to him but I don't know what I'm doing with myself and i dont know what should i do.

I was friendzoned by a woman I wanted for a long time. This new year's eve i got a new year's handshake from her which put me over the edge, telling her how I've felt about her and how i cant handle the way she humiliates me in certain situations like the handshake for instance and how i can't be around her anymore if I want to regain my mental health and have any self worth at all. Boy, did she start backpedalling when she thought she was losing a friendzone sucker, chauffer, shoulder to cry on etc. She acted like she never knew i had feelings for her, while all along would feel the need to remind me "we're just friends". Women friendzone men because although we're good enough to use, we're not all good enough to choose.

I don’t chase them, well not anymore. Cus i think its enough as a normal friends. Im not really into that circle cus im not good as them. So i just run away.It’s not worth to follow/chase them if they didn’t do anything to be friends with you. But it’s kinda different when you try to make your crush notice you and ofc u had to chase them. Honestly, i don’t really care if people say that im ignorant type of person, cus i think i give too much attention to people back then when im a good person but I didn’t get what i wanted and i never feel enough. But right now i think i just feel a lot better. Cus I don’t have to think about them... Sometimes you are too kind and forget your own value Having lots of friends doesn’t matter, 1,2 is enough, Higher number does not increase “value” of something. :D It just my experience and opinion. :D

After she fell for me and we hung out (at this point I still didn't know she liked me so yeah I didn't really chase her or anything ) I noticed when I hung out with her and her sis , other girls would keep coming up and confessing they like me and well because I didn't know them , ofc I rejected them and then my friend who's the girl would get jealous and try to get me more and this goes on for quite some time , maybe a month or something before I brought up the topic and she confessed she liked me and yeah things started to go downhill , I wanted to be extremely nice to her since she liked me so yeah that's what I did and u know what? That's how she left me , honestly still hurt but yeah , it is what it is

The first thing is so real. When I was younger I was really an attention whore (I still am but not that huge) because rejection/loosing someone was one of my biggest fears. I'm still so fuckin afraid of being alone and forgotten but in past I tended to overwhelm people around me which partially caused that I lost them. Now I'm older and I can understand the other perspective of being overwhelmed by someone's constant need of attention (the way like everyday for X hours constant calls being not able to accept rejecton not being able to spend time alone etc) since I also started to feel need to be alone for a while and I guess I accepted my own company from time to time and I have some friendships for now. I don't know how long it will last but I try to not think about it and use it with still respecting my boundaries...

Please guys, if you're watching this be careful with the "show them you are wanted by others" tip. In my experience most of the girls I dated are really insecure and jealous (the more attractive the more insecure). If you're already the best version of yourself it will happen naturally. Like girls will notice you and your partner you notice that. Don't push it to make your partners jealous not because it won't work just because it will affect the security you pass to the other person and this is very important for healthy relationships.
@Thiagolekao Жыл бұрын
Examples:1. You're in a bar and girls are looking at you. You don't want to express to your partner " Oh look how hot I am". This is dumb. Just be cool and pretend you didin't see it and don't flirt back.If she notice she notice if she donesn't no need to make it explicit. 2. A girls message you on instagram whatever mate, ignore it. If she grabs you phone and see it then she saw. But don't text back or try to brag about it. Just dumb.

May I ask you, what would you do if you were me? I am not my best self, not even close, however, I am slowly but surely working on myself and I would enjoy a date, or someone to just watch a movie with, or something together as I feel alone. Should I wait until I am who I used to be? Or just remain alone until I am better?
@Thiagolekao Жыл бұрын
@@portcitypersona Depends on what "not my best self" means. If you're going through emotional/psicologic problems I wouldn't date witouth being completely honest with your partner. If you just don't feel as atractive whatever mate, your not the best on your look but everyday we age we get more experienced and mature afterall personality matters more than looks for girls.
