do si's channel the mesh tighter than ksi's? I though ksi's channel it more because it pulls the diamond to the outside

TBH it depends on how you are using them. I like to use KSIs to pull the mesh down and out, to channel the mesh but prevent it from becoming too narrow. This sounds like a great video!
