As an American citizen, I would like to apologize to the world for the CIA. If it makes you feel better, none of us voted this authoritarian crime crew into power. The Dulles brothers saw an opening and took it. Mr. Assange was/is incredibly brave to stand up to such an evil and powerful entity.

Assange is an aspiring man . The hell he went through. I am glad he is with his wife & children. 💕

All this guy did was publish documents sent to him. That is NOT a crime in the US. But the National Security State ignored the law and went after him. The people who persecuted him should be locked up or worse. JMO

God bless Julian Assange. His courage and willingness to continue fighting is a testament to his God-given strength. His humility, humor and ability to smile nearly brought me to years.

It's so amazing to see him free and healthy! Loved hearing his whole story.

This man paid a very huge price (still paying ) unjustly. Not just journalists should take notice. If we think this only pertains to those who call themselves journalists we are sadly in for a rude awakening.

I take back my last deleted comment. It’s horrific what happened to Assange and other journalists. We must continue to fight for the freedom of speech and all the journalists risking their lives for bringing people the truth!

That crowd "listening" to Julian Assange is the rudest bunch of people I have heardd for a while! Someone is always moving, the coughing relay includes sniffles, and people are moving around all the time, often between the camera and the speaker. How many of them were paid to do just that? At least two or three of the coughers are exaggerating to a ridiculous degree, so my bet is that they, at least, were paid to interrupt and distract from the extremely important message being delivered.
