Have you ever thought why you have this fear of rejection? It's just you have selfish intentions. When you want to ask a girl out or even compliment her, what you really want to do is to make yourself feel good and just use girl for your own desires. That's focus on you. It's all me me and me. What i advise you to do is to completely forget about yourself, focus on girl, have sincere intentions to make her feel good with your genuine compliment. In fact for girls it's flattering when a guy asks them out, even if she rejects you, you made her feel good about herself. And when you sincerely want to make the other person happy, you just simply cant fear, because you are doing a good thing. How can you fear to make someone happy???

I don't know why but I just started crying towards the beginning of this video. the part where you said "No matter what somebody says I'm still alive" for some reason I guess my soul really needed to heart that. Thank you

didnt mind my last rejection, cause it was a learning experience. but of course i felt crappy but for very little time.

when you get "rejected," its them rejecting the fake image of you in their head, not the actual you. There rejecting you because of their own insecurities, or in the other case they just don't think ur hot,confident enough for them.IMO.

I'm a girl. And this message I find is really powerful to deal with something I'm currently going through. Instead of searching endlessly through videos aimed at understanding the actions of men, I am realising how helpful it is to embrace the actual mindset of a guy for my own purpose. And basically, start dating like a guy! Thank you :)

I can image one can develop this mindset, this way of living the world instead of the one portrayed and constructed for us by the media... ..if one has grown up besides the Dalai Lama or around those circles, I dont get how you dont get twisted along the way? This is certainly purity

Hi Shogo, thanks for your video and effort. However, in my experience it does not work this way. You cannot "think" yourself out of feeling bad about rejection. I have read pretty much all the reframes about this topics there are, so your ideas were not really new to me. The only thing that works is exposure and practicing rejection. And even then, I still feel the sting at times.
@shogogarcia10 жыл бұрын
Hi Tom, thanks for sharing your experience as well. I think you are correct that what I'm talking about in this video is perception, but it's not about changing one's perception, or "reframing". It's about seeing perception itself. The weakness in reframing, as I understand the concept, is that those exercises fail to show that any "reframe" our minds can produce has itself come out of a previous frame. With reframing we can never fully overcome our perception of anything, because the kind of an exercise itself relies on whatever previous frame is set in our minds. We have never let go of the first frame that gives birth to any and all subsequent frames. This is the illusion. It's like coming up with all kinds of ways to improve the lighting in a room when the real source of the issue is that we are wearing sunglasses. What you are talking about in "exposure" and "practicing rejection", that deals with overcoming the initial fear of a unknown or scary situation we may find ourselves in. That is also an interesting topic, but a completely different one that I don't think has to do with this video.

Hey, like always love your videos. I have few question. How tall are you? Im 5'10 and it is really one of the biggest concerns about my look, the only thing that just gets in the way of my self confidence. Any tips on this dilema? :/
@MrJackaquack10 жыл бұрын
5'10 is around the average height for a guy. Being that height is not beneficial, nor a setback. Don't worry too much about it :)

Are you telling me you feel self conscious about your height even when hanging around girls that are 5'2"?

Your height is perfect. Its a height that commonly causes people to be fearful of being too short tho , as you're just shy of 6 foot. But dont let it get to you! You're awesome dont forget it

Once you get rejected act like it doesn't hurt you even though you're dying inside. Go away from her/his life, meet, new people and never talk to them unless they initiate the conversation. Dont show weakness by posting stuff on social media that has to do with love. Act like just normal and dont try to get her/him back while talking. Just let her/him do all the flirting since they were the one who dumped you first. Hope that helps my friends.

Dating is all about numbers anyways. You just need to escalate physically little by little and you watch how reacts to them. Remember to never be seen as if you're more into her than she is into you.

If I ask for a woman's number and she turns me down, I just smile and say, "Your loss" and casually walk away as if her rejection meant NOTHING to me. 9 times out of 10 this completely devastates and demoralizes the girl because now SHE feels rejected and you look like the "winner" of the encounter. Try it out.
