Tim is a great dude. I have been very fortunate to have zero mental illness or depression or anything like that my entire life. The older I get (and watching things like this) the more I don't take that for granted. Watching this series like this I am much more empathetic to those around me who do suffer from some challenges. It's a real struggle for some people and I like to be there to support the best I can, as they would be for me with any challenges I have. "That day that we all train for is when the body and the mind align" - that was the quote of the episode. We all wake up on race day and hope with everything we have for that day. It rarely happens but when it does.....magic! Keep on keeping on buddy!

Tim you are AWESOME! I really hope you will one day feel better about yourself and truly see all great things you’ve accomplished. You certainly inspire us all. Most relatable elite out there. Thanks for being so open, that takes a lot of courage. ❤

Wow! Thank you so much Tim and crew. This has by far been one of the most relatable trail running short films I have ever seen. It took me years to realize that without a support crew, opening up, finding mental health resources, I was my own worst enemy. I was my own worst coach, constantly berating myself, getting angry, when there was any inkling of things not going according to plan. My stubbornness and abusive self talk would lead me to push myself to multiple injuries, as well as a bout with alcoholism. The constant comparing, I really felt that at 8:41 where you say "you are so self obsessed, but not in a vanity way. You're obsessed with how horrible you think you are, and it's tiring." This kind of thinking unfortunately extended to the rest of my life as I'm sure it does for many others. I have since found my way out of the tunnel, fully prepared that the next tunnel will be a little easier, and just part of the process. All I have to say is THANK YOU for being so vulnerable and showing/sharing your emotions with us. We love you.

Tim's example has helped me to be so much more honest with my self-perceptions and self-assessments, and meanwhile, he IS a champion - many incredible performances in is career, which is far from over. Thank you for this series.

"I feel like I wont be loved if I cant run". Not true. If you were just a RD of the Mammoth Lake fest, people would still love you man.

I'm sorry, but is it just me, but I can't watch a film and feel sorry for an elite athlete who finishes in the top 70 and just over 25hrs. Full respect for him for finishing and digging deep etc and he is a cool dude, but feeling sorry for him for a 'hard day'. There are people out there way longer than that. I respectable time is around 36hrs for a good athlete and he crosses the line in 26hrs. I mean no disrespect, the video comes across that way to me.

Idk, his wife could be a bit more supportive and not so ironic.
