Right on and it's friggin beautiful. Fleetwood Mack is one of the best bands of all time. But maybe I'm not totally objective because I became a man when I was 15. She was 16 and had a bf before, I was a virgin. And we slow danced on "need your love so bad". She got me rock hard and the rest.. well... hello heaven. :)

Fleetwood Mac came with big egos. All talented and gifted musicians and song writers in their own right. Christine and John deserved more. She has a beautiful voice and I preferred her voice to Stevie's (it's the nasal tone that got to me) and John is a great Bass guitarist. However Lindsey was on another planet... his guitar skill alone were so unique and he made it look so effortless. It gave the band a unique sound. The band is not the same without him.

Consider that Fleetwood Mac has never been able to replace Lindsey with one guitarist. The first time he was fired, Rick Vito and Billy Burnette came in, and now it's Mike Campbell and Neil Finn. One other guitarist by himself just cannot play what he can.

I respect him greatly, but to me, Lindsey, massivey talented as he is, was replaceable. Christine was not. She's was the core of Fleetwood Mac, the sine qua non. It's her passing that means that Fleetwood Mac is truly over -- my favorite group of all time but never to perform again in any true sense, just as Mike Love's Beach Boys are nothing but a cover band. Without Christine, I doubt that any original members will have the slightest interest in resurrecting anything called FM.

@@wolfhard2420 You see, each fan may decide that individually. For you, everyone was replaceable. For other fans that may not be the case. Some consider Lindsey irreplaceable. Some, Stevie. For others, Lindsey AND Stevie. For me, Christine was irreplaceable. I'd have little interest in a Fleetwood Mac concert in which she wasn't present. Even Mick has stated that after her death, Fleetwood Mac is no more -- i.e., I think he considers Christine to be irreplaceable.

Pure magic, vocally and instrumentally perfect in every respect. Buckingham's guitar work is just sublime , he should be in the top 10 of everyone's favourite guitarists just for that song, let alone anything else .. Simply awesome song ..❤

Lindsey Buckingham is the only live performer who has ever brought me to tears. I didn’t know anything about his music when he sang this alone at Berkeley Center in Boston years ago. His sadness was so profound and moving, even without Stevie there

Wow, this got me right in the heart balls. The history and love they shared is so apparent and clearly truly missed. Beautiful.

Truly missed? Lindsay moved on and he's in a much better, healthier and happier place. Stevie, OTOH, finds herself having burned through at least a dozen other men too, and now holding on to her bitterness. She throws a hissy and issues an ultimatum to Mick "it's me or him, choose" and he responds by taking the high road and hoping there might be a reunion one day in the future before it's too late. He's a strange and quirky guy, but I'm glad for his sake he finally got away and built a stable life and family and the peace and happiness it's brought him.

I love the guitar solo in the middle. Not an easy finger-style song to play if you want to get all the notes right. Very gifted player.

I am dumbstruck by what a brilliant songwriter Lindsey is. His guitar craft is so expressive, combined with a deeply meaningful lyric for so many people.....I don't know why I looked down on Fleetwood Mac for so many years.

These two together are great. Fleetwood Mac without Lindsey is not FM. Today's FM is more a cover band.
