i think zajeff explained before that what really sets geo apart from being a yellow-coloured physical is their geo construct gimmick (but it sucks because geo constructs break so easily against bosses anyway) but since navia's not on any geo archetype (constructs, def, and/or shield) she doesn't really feel like a geo character.

As someone who slapped Marechaussee on Navia and never looked back. I kinda wish I did actually farm her set before the burning set came out (I'm guaranteed Emilie so I kinda need it). There have been several abyss cycles where I just haven't been able to play Navia because Furina was on the other chamber, and when Navia is on Marechaussee she's legally tied to Furina by the ankle.

For those on the fence: I was as well, but she's ridiculously good at C0, like disgustingly powerful. I have Zhongli, Bennett, and Furina. She bulldozes everything. If you give her good artifacts, a good weapon, she shreds. She also has a diverse variety of characters that can be used with her, since you need two non geo elements in your team. You can use Xianyun Furina for example, for the plunge variant. Or, you can use other buffers, healers, shielders, etc... sub dps. Doesn't matter. She's really, really, really good. Please don't skip her if you think she "isn't good" since "Content Creators" say she's not that great or just kinda good...she's really powerful. She's like Nilou: very powerful at what she does. I mean, people were astounded that she could do over 100k crits in her trial for a reason. You can basically get up to like 350k to 550k per shot C0 without factoring in the auto attacks from her that chunk for like 30k to 60k depending.

I think we need to put a scale on what zajeff means with how he defines units. Because if he says a character is “pretty good” they are very good, if he says a character is “very good” then they are broken. This is especially true with 5 star limited characters since I think he said himself that he usually doesn’t say a character is specially good and sometimes even undervalues them to not make people feel like they need to pull for them, but it can end up making people not wanting to pull for them

Saying things like "She's good/decent" gives the idea that she might be kinda "meh" to some people when in actuality she hits like a truck and pretty easily. Both Navia and Nilou grant a LOT of power for not too much investment. Nilou's teams are DIRT CHEAP for how ridiculous they are. I just don't want someone to see this and be like "oh so she's like slightly above average? Pass" when she definitely not. She's not like Arlecchino levels of ridiculousness but she's fantastic.

Even zyox talked about how zajeff have problems with his wording that make him sound like he’s undervaluing or talking shit about a character even when he isn’t really trying to do so, which is not a big issue for old viewers but can be problematic for newer ones or people that don’t watch him regularly. He explains game mechanics, the element reactions and overall theory crafting stuff pretty well in a simpler way for everyone and specially newer players(and entertaining imo), but sometimes these problems or bad takes happen when bad wording or personal bias comes in and it almost feels mandatory to make a disclaimer of them

I rather find it refreshing when a content creator uses normal words instead of hyperinflating everything. "Broken" is such an overused word for strong characters to the point that it's lost its meaning. Tldr: using the entire scale is better than just the extreme ends.

@@Runegrem but he doesn’t use them “correctly”, it’s not about using “normal words” but using the correct terms. He does undersell characters and he also sometimes admits to that even tho he says at the same time that they are actually strong in for example some tier list videos. Broken is a word that can be used incorrectly and is very clickbait sometimes, but using it on characters like furina, nahida or even maybe neuvillet since they are characters that changed the entire meta and still are some of the most predominant characters. None of the two ends is good if you want to give an accurate representation of the character

I think there's a big caveat with Marechaussee on Navia. Not only it limits you to play with Furina, but the effect itself is not practical for her. Navia's optimal rotation doesn't let you stack the effect before first skill so you end up not having any crit (You want to immediately skill after swapping to her and there's no time to ramp up the 4pc effect because it doesn't stack off field) and skill is where majority of her damage comes from, especially the first one because it will always have 6 stacks. I ended up going Golden Troupe 4pc because I can't be bothered with Marechaussee crit inconsistence.

This game allows you to change gearing and Navia on Mare performs on par with her BiS set in Furina teams. An account with Furina'd want a Mare set anyways so it's really efficient to use that set on Navia. Farming the Mare domains only for Navia is really not recommended and outside Furina teams, any other option can be viable (2p2p, Golden). The only problem happens when you want a set that stays on Navia and will never change, which in that case Mare is never a good opt.

I have a love-hate relationship with her ENG voice. I think her ENG VA did a very good job. it’s just that some of the voicelines aren’t that great. plunge being navia's best team is a very nice thing. you can increase the dmg of team even further if you go for c2 furina, and c2 xianyun. meanwhile hyper, national, etc... they cap at navia's cons which are pretty meh.

I got Navia when she first came out but only recently built her. Even with somewhat subpar artifacts and unleveled talents (too much else to work on atm), she still feels good and does what feels like reasonable damage. Once I finish with her talents I'm sure she'll feel even better to play.

For it is basically both of them's best in slot. And yeah if you have nothing else to farm, you can just sink a tonne of Resin into this domain and have a nice day.

1- I had almost no needs to do that domain cause i felt and its also truth specially from a Speedrun/Frontload perspective that, 4GT is poggers on her also ofc 4MH Furina stuff. 2- After a while i still ended up doing her domain and turns out a whole long session of 4 patches holy shit.., i had a relatively higher bar that i set for myself before leaving but still felt like i was getting strong pcs here at significantly less amount than my other domains.. 3- Definitely my most frustrating session in 4yrs but still at least satisfied with results, even tho i can call it a 3/4 done but can't say my Hat is done forever..,might do the domain again later lmao 4: so why tf all this when i had 0 needs of her true set and 4GT already was clearing like butter.., cause.. ​@@KFCG427oof 4 patches farming for her that's pain for sure. I also did the same reasons coz I love Navia. She was on MH set first before I finally decided to farm the Nighttime whispers domain. So I was truly lucky that it only took me about a month to get her a very good set with 79/233 CV on s5 SS. I also have Arlecchino and Clorinde and I'm not farming on Whimsy's domain coz it's not resin friendly and I already have a great Gladiator set. For Clorinde I just recently switched her to TF set from strongboxing coz it's more efficient.

If you farm a lot in marechaussee you dont just get upgrades to your set, you also naturally get more complete sets of marechaussee(and golden troupe). So having an exclusive set for each character who needs it isnt exactly unique to farming different domains. But we will soon get very good artifact sets with natlan which will once again demand our resin so this patch is a good time to get other stuff done that results in guaranteed upgrades for your account.

This is only true if you keep your rejects as hand me downs for the next character in line (which I and probably most people do). The way Zajef farms artifacts, he only keeps the one or two copies of any particular set in a common pool to be shared across all his units. So to him farming a unique set "forces" him to have another set available, not really relatable logic to the average player who already has separate gear for separate units.

There are some people who misunderstand that nighttime passive doesn't apply to navia's first hit but it's far from the truth because it does for every time she uses her e whether you tap or hold e, standing a little back or just hugging the enemy. The artifact states that after you use your E, not when your E hits an enemy.

This is how I do it as well, with Navia instantly getting her set day 0 due to all the ATK stat "rejects" that I already had from farming Golden/Marechussy. The artifact logic Zajef stated sounds insane to me, as if you already have cracked pieces from older domains, that would also mean you probably have a ton of potentials/failed rolls in backstock. The only way his logic makes sense is if you consistently fodder all those slightly less than cracked pieces and therefore only have that one set to share across dozens of characters that you have to hotswap every time you change Abyss teams like him.

Small question, I'm using Navia-Zl-Furina-Charlotte with C on TTDS and planning to flex between Zl and Kachina when Natlan comes, so do you have any changes suggestion or update to my team? Since Charlotte on TTDS provides buff almost the same as Benny but I don't see many people run this team

Bennett buff up to 1200 flat Atk (even higher with Noblesse). TTDS is only 48% Atk which translates to around 440 Atk assuming Mega Magic Sword (a bit higher with Verdict). That is quite the huge difference. Charlotte still frontloads her healing which gives you higher fanfare on average but Bennett is still the superior choice from a damage standpoint

​@@justawalter9752 I understand that Bennett is the strongest in healing + buffing but in teams w/o Bennett, Charlotte can almost caps out fanfare right at the beginning giving 60-70% Dmg Bonus, while with Bennett it's 32.5% at 150 fanfare avg. 30% Dmg could be valuable as 45-50% Atk and buffs Furina's pet too (ofc it changes with Cons). But what I want to say is in comps that don't use Bennett, Charlotte works quite well and actually not that far behind compare to the needs of Bennett in normal Bennett teams

I want to see if this comp is viable in low Furina Cons too, from what I tested Charlotte feels good since she isn't restricted to the circle but her Burst CD is 20s which feels clunky to play with Navia (My Furina is C4 already and Bennett needs only 1 tick to max her fanfare so testing is hard, also idk if C2 benefits which case more)

@@jebx7801 in a sheets sure but practicly its doesn't really matter you not gonna notice it, its not like you swap navia no MH stack skill, you swap navia get heal by bennet because the set up drain your hp get 1 stack and now you already has 70%+ crit rate and it should be good enough, if u hold your e for aiming you can expect to get 2 stack pretty dang consistently I understand your concern but navia is different with lyney where you not gonna get stack on your first arrow or if the enemy line up makes early q more optimal forcing you to cast q without MH stack, navia will always get at the very least 1 stack on her first e, and isn't using mh set on navia more so making her more consistent because you can pretty much always having 100% crit rate where nighttime or any rainbow set will usually force u run something like 70%-80% crit rate if u wanna get 180%+ crit damage, and isn't the purpose of people farming nighttime do so because they doesn't wanna see their navia licking furina boots 24/7

As it stands now the good old "just build two teams for abyss and you'll be fine for the rest of your life" is not true. You NEED to have flexible teams with more than 8 characters to swap out between them, you NEED to have more than two carries and, honestly, if you don't, you're way too early in the game progression to concern yourself with endgame

Having more than 2 carries does make things a lot easier but I don't think you "need" it even with the abyss today, my friend is still clearing abyss with just F2P Xiao and Ayato and was able to clear act 8 of imaginary theater with 7 stars.

Personally I use Navia, Yelan, Furna, Jean. Able to clear most Spiral Abysses without issues with that team. Sometimes I have ran Navia, Xiangling, Bennet, Zhongli, but generally prefer the double hydro + Jean variant.

Navia’s days of being a useful character are numbered imo. Her whole gimmick is frontload damage to quickly kill enemies but as enemy HP goes up she gonna need more skill cats to keep up and at that point her frontload advantage is lost.

​@@moonlitpacificNavia dps itself isn't insanely high, but her performance is great due to frontloading, which can make her clear faster than the assumed time. But she can struggle if the damage requirement is increased by a lot since her damage per rotation isnt as high. FYI, the 5.0 seems to be inflated in numbers, 12-1 and 12-2 has 4m+ hp pool, while 12-3 has 6m+. All abyss prior have 4m+ at 12-3 only.

@@moonlitpacific well not everyone have proper build yet (mostly new players or casual) and most of the time, people dont play perfectly which can slow down the theoritical clear time. Obv if you play well with decent endgame build, it wont matter, even with 6m pool, the required dps to 36* is only 36k anyway, far lower than the average C0 teams (~60k for now)

On the discussion regarding artifacts I think even if you already have a good set of M-hunter/emblem your next objective should be to grind for a second good set of those, and then potentially the 3rd and the 4th considering how universally useful they are. I personally don't think just one good set of M-hunter is a good stopping point, especially when the other set in that domain is GT which is also good on Navia.

You have to filter that advice through knowledge that Zajef uses shared artifact pool across all his units, which he has to constantly swap whenever he changes Abyss units. Obviously most people do not play that way, so his logic doesn't really make sense outside of his own context.

Gorou can only give her a damage buff if there are 3 geos on the team if he is the only geo he gives a def buff which does nothing for Navia damage and since she gets crystalized shields it is not even a comfort thing and 2 geos is resistance to interuption which you get from crystalized shields or zhongli and his drawing in crystalized shards is not even that necessary if you have supports with enough elemental application and navia's burst up frequently or even another geo like Zhongli, Albedo, Chiori to provide more geo for crystalize. Ninguangs skill can give Navia a geo damage bonus if sh walks thorugh Ning's skill screen so while Gorou can be put on her team if you have noone else, he is probably the worst for her. Even Yunjin's normal attack buff can be decent if you want to keep Navia on field more.

@@coreano1219 Zhongli is not fully a "locked in place character. Sure you want to keep near his pillars but the shield alone will shred enemy resistance too all elements. So if you use off field dps characters to apply elements then they will also benefit from Zhongli's shield resistance shred. Ninguang can give a geo damage buff, geo traveler gives a crit rate buff for everyone, Yunjin gives an NA buff if you want Navia on field which some will, while Albedo and Chiori provide their own damage, when comparing what everyone brings, Gorou's crit damage buff for only Navia is not as good as it seems since his def increase is not even worth and Navia can suck in the crystalized shards on her own with hold skill, but most off field elemental appliers plus Navia's burst gives her plenty of shards so the hold skill is not even necessary that much. Sometimes it is easy to overvalue crit damage buffs but since Navia wants off field elemental appliers a unit like Zhongli or geo traveler is better for the whole team while even ningguang is better since she buffs Navia and can actually contribute decent damage on her own. . He is not bad but not as good as he would seem just by reading parts of his kit, if he is your only option then it is fine, but he is outclassed quite easily by everyone (at least for Nvia teams).

sub-dps are good enough to clear imaginary theater on their own, the enemies are quite weak. I put sucrose on crit/em hybrid set and she could solo an act. Even old 4 star dps like Razor does perfectly fine, there's no need to pull for Navia specifically for imaginary theater when Ning could do the job.
