That's so funny, I'm 54 and had the same thoughts and similar artists we grew up with. But bc if siblings and a part time musician as father, I heard all kinds of music, which makes my music play lists long and versatile 😅 But I mostly listen to my favorite songs or very sad or atmospheric, dark, romantic, can he anything, but they're all calming. From Strange Fruit and Nina Simone (amo) to Dear Mama from Tupac to artists like Florence & the Machine, Lana Del Rey, Paris Paloma, Billie Eilish, FINNEAS, even Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Taylor swift, I got it all and zo haven't even. Mentioned all the decades of music I (once) listened to, from The Doors to David Bowie, Party Smith, Joy Division, The Cure amo new wave, Dead can dance, Tindersticks, Jane Austin Experience, all unknown to most! Rap also, Ren is my favorite at the moment, but have tons of songs from multiple rappers, but most is from Rapsody, Jay z and older ones like Public Enemy and Grandmaster Flash, the message is still on my Playlist and I can go on and on, not showing off whatsoever 😅

This is a #Masterful 3min pop song. It's not often a pop song is of such quality I get the #Goosebumps, but this with its intricate layers of all kinds of vocals, a powerful I-ain't-gettin-trod-on-no-more anthem, delivered with 100% genuine *feeling* o_O She deserves her chance at a decent-sized audience for sure. I find it hilarious that her former management told her not to release this!...
