This is from an album called Two Rooms which was filled with Elton John covers. The title referred to the fact that Elton and Bernie Taupin were never together when they write the songs. I love the simplicity and beauty of this version.

Oh damn Fil, I was a huge sinead o'connor fan growing up and listened to this song so many times. What's so unbelievably painful to hear this now is that it's literally describing the last 3 to 4 years with me and my husband in regards to "It's two hearts living in two separate worlds". 💔
