Actually AJ spoke about it saying that people have double standards. People were so quick to judge him, harshly for that matter, because of it. I do think that AJ is a smart man and his goal was not really to knock Parker out but to get the belt. You could watch their press conference before the fight and know that they did respect each other, immensely, and as such he saw no benefit in knocking him out. To reply to your comment. AJ did knock out his previous 21 opponents, flat out, and it is my opinion that if he indeed wanted to knock Parker out, he had the ability to do so.

He fought a very disciplined fight against Parker, easy win in terms of stratergy but a tough fight in terms of sticking solely to the game plan for 12 rounds with out giving Parker anything to capitalize on. Aj is a very smart boxer and I believe because of his ability to focus and remain patient and so disciplined he will easily beat Fury and Wilder unless of cause he makes a mistake and gets caught, one punch is all it takes in the HW division.
