You showed where Tai Lung said "What are you going to do, sit on me?", but you seem to have missed the moment when he and Po where bouncing down the stairs and Po's posterior pressed Tai Lung's head to the steps.

Monkey is played by Jackie Chan. The dumpling fight between Po & Shifu is inspired by a food fight scene in JC's The Fearless Hyena (1979). The Furious Five and Tai Lung are based on different animal styles of kung fu, many of which JC had used in his 70s films.

This is such an amazing movie. One of the last truly great movies both for children and for adults. One very subtle thing the movie does very well is how Po and Tai Lung react to the scroll. When PO sees it he says it is "blank" implying that he is a blank slate that could be filled with anything. When Tai Lung sees it he says it is "nothing" implying there is nothing he could learn anymore.

Just like Toy Story, the trilogy to these movies were amazing... and they should've stayed that way. But that whet happens when something is TOO popular. The second one is defintely the best.
